Speaking of caterpillars, my little grandson always seems to spot a

butterfly. I have several pictures of my daughter, his mom, having a butterfly land on her hand.

But we have noticed there don't seem to be as many butterlies as usual.

I wonder if it's the heat?

I used to have a butterfly bush and my mother did too. That's what I need!

I think that there are nearly 50% fewer butterflies than there were in other years according to The North American Butterfly Association (NABA).
