Maybelline’s Rewind......so good and so inexpensive. Another recommendation Maybelline’s Full & Soft Mascara....so so good. It comes in several colors too. Brown, Brown/Black, Black.

Are you getting color-matched at the counter?

My Bobbi Brown concealer is a color I would have never in a million years selected for myself but it is perfect on my skin.

@newme1  started a thread about concealers this morning. The most important point is that the concealer can only do so much. The condition of the skin in the undereye area is important to how the concealer will set. That area is quite thin. It needs to be super moisturized day and night, protected w/ spf, cut back on salt and sleep w/ head elevated to eliminate some puffiness. A lightweight day moisturizer is best and it needs to dry down or it just mixes with your concealer. I agree that going to counter is the best way to find a concealer/shade you're happy with. There are many brands, shades, textures, application methods (brushes, doe foots), etc.

@hyacinth003   Let me know what you find that works well for you.

@AmericanBulldogMom ....I agree...I actually use original bisque as my foundation...and as a concealer when needed.   I think it is more natural looking and has better coverage than most liquids.

@hyacinth003  Here is a concealer that comes in different undertones.  Example:  Fair, cool undertone so check it out.  I use the Secret Concealer but want to try this one but need to use up what I have.  Secret never creases on me and Flawless Fusion is 12 hour wear, no creasing.  Sold at Nordstrom too (free shpg). Read the reviews.

Just started using Kat Von D that comes in so many colors and is broken down into warm, cool and neutral categories.  I’m very pleased.

@AmericanBulldogMom- oh my gosh, thank you for reminding me about Bisque. I have two shades; I think it's Bisque and Summer Bisque. I don't know which one used to work for me. I haven't used them in ages, but I'm going to dig them out and try them tomorrow. I am also having a major problem with concealing. I'm not sure the minerals will work for me anymore since I've discovered lots of new lines and wrinkles in my once-smooth face. I can no longer wear the Bare Minerals foundation because of the lines, but maybe the Bisque will work. Here's hoping!

@hyacinth003

After years of not being happy with any concealer I tried, I found

A275114 Doll 10.  Q only has one color, however all are available

on the Doll 10 web - I use fair, and always had issues with the yellow tint previously.

I use her brush, but of course it is not necessary.  I dampen it to spread the product.

Hope you find one that makes you happy.

Another vote for Maybelline Instant Age Rewind in Fair. Have been using for years and always have 6 or so in my extra stash! It does not look shiny so no need to powder under the eye. I love it so much it is now my foundation as well! I also just pull off the sponge tip and use finger or my own sponge to blend. Easy to find in so many stores

I watched a makeup artist on youtube, and she said to wet a makeup sponge, squeeze until almost dry, then pat all over face.  It picks up the excess.
