Cannot Use HSN Coupon Code

Does anyone else run into this problem? I was trying to purchase a Trish McEvoy item & use a $10 off coupon code but couldn't. I called CS & was told because the item has FREE Shipping that you cannot use a coupon with it. The FREE shipping is considered a coupon & you can't stack coupons.

This is the first time I have heard of this. I'm really disappointed. Has this happened to any of you or am I just that Lucky?
