Done with the QVC women, let's move onto CNN. Disgusting!!!On 8/17/2014 Usedtobeoxox said:It's not? Round is not a bad description but yet YOU had a problem with it. Thank you to the fellow Candy fans who read my original post for comprehension and posted their opinions. We may have seen a new and more peaceful day in Candyland, if the execs agree, of course.

I love Candy and just have had the feeling over the years that she has struggled with her style--in the face now of all the young journalists who always have their biceps out there. I was happy to see her look so ""in her own skin"" today and wondered if anyone else noticed.
You didn't do anything wrong. It was some of the responses that went awry.

I like and respect her. I don't look to see what she looks like. It seems that women are always under a different set of rules. Guys can have wrinkles, grey hair and a weight problem. No one ever mentions that. Different standard. My point is: If she does the job she should earn respect and be allowed to be who she is.

Ford--Honestly, there are some who either can't or don't read the words on the screen. I don't see that as my problem.

I read OP's statement perfectly clear, which she has since edited out. It was offensive and disrespectful in her backhanded compliment. What gives her the authority to judge Candy's "body issue" in a public forum. Then she sugarcoats her comment by asking not to attack her to misconstrue her intentions.

Ford--I am starting to think it is more than a simple reading problem, since I have never edited a post. I don't even know how to, since I tend to shot straight the first time. This could be a form of groupmind or something. Anyway, thumbs up to Candy fans out there and have a great and thoughtful day.

Your actual statements were not well intended and thought out properly. Please drop QVC from your name. You have a good day as well.
