Hello ladies,
I have the IT CC Cream and it's okay. I don't love it or hate it. Since the IT Celebration Foundation won the QVC foundation award I'm curious if I'd like it better.
For me the CC Cream isn't quite enough coverage. I have to use a loose mineral foundation over it (plus, it seems too shiny looking without the powder foundation over). I do love the IT Bye Bye Under Eye.
For those who have both, can you please let me know the difference between the 2 foundations?
Thanks so much! ![]()

IMO, the CC+ Cream is pretty much a color correcting tinted moisturizer with skincare benefits. Many people feel this is enough for them on a daily basis. I have it, and after trying numerous BB & CC creams that just didn't do much for me, the IT is definitely a keeper....so glad I got the big ones! I don't use a moisturizer with and SPF in the morning, so I'm happy that the CC+ has the SPF protection for me.
I also use the Celebration Foundation (or Laura Geller's Baked Elements). It gives fuller coverage and can be used alone or over the CC+ Cream to set it, which is how I like to use it because I prefer a more matte look.

Thanks for the reply, JeanLouise! I'm also curious for breakout prone skin if the celebration foundation has caused breakouts for anyone.
I do agree about the cc cream. It is really nice to have the physical spf in it!

You're welcome. I haven't had an problems with breakouts that I'd specifically link to the Celebration Foundation. Now that I'm using a cleansing oil at night and an exfoliating enzyme powder every morning, on the rare occasion that a random zit does pop up, they're usually gone within two days.

The main ingredient in the CC cream is snail slime. The Celebration foundation does not have this ingredient. I find the Celebration to be a bit cakey. If you're interested in a powder, the Tarte amazonian powder foundation has very good coverage. For a CC, the Bourjois perfect 123 provides excellent color correcting and I sometimes wear it without additional foundation.

I have the celebration foundation and believe it gives more of a medium coverage and is buildable if you want less or more. It leaves a matte finish.
If you think the result is ""cakey"" you have several options. You can set your MU with a hydrating facial mist. IT cosmetics also makes an illuminating compact MU both in a powder format and a crème format. Using a primer underneath your MU can leave a dewy effect.

fwiw, "Snail Secretion Filtrate" is used widely in the beauty industry. The CC cream has close to 40 ingredients so I hardly think the snail filtrate is an issue of any importance.

I have both and think the coverage is about the same. I originally bought the CC cream and when I saw snail stuff was the second ingredient, I sent it right back. Then I bought it again. It's very nice but I have other foundations that are just as nice or better and I don't get a queasy stomach. I think IT CC cream is probably the highest coverage of any BB or CC cream I have tried. To me the biggest difference is the SPF in the CC cream.
I think MAC Studio Skin powder foundation has more coverage than IT Celebration. Sounds like you like a really matte finish, not sure the MAC will be matte enough for you.

I use the CC, then setting powder, then if any dark spots pop out I take a beauty blender and tap some celebration on top of it. I was tired of the heavy duty make up look and I am trying to cover dark spots with the least amount of product. I would not give up the CC for anything because of the SPF50. Also the snail slime, after reading about it, is very good for your skin and as long as I don't have to see the snail or grab his slime I am good.
