I purchased the GHD Eclipse Iron and couldn't register it with the GHD website because it is missing the Hologram Code on the arm. It has a Date Code but no Hologram Code. I have purchased several GHD irons from other places and they have all had both codes. Has anyone else tried to register their iron and noticed this code missing? I emailed GHD and they replied they needed both codes. I emailed QVC with no response yet. For those of you that have purchased this iron from QVC, please look at your iron and let me know if it has both codes. I will probably return mine if I can't register it. Your thoughts?

Call customer service if you want an answer. They probably will send you another flat iron. Or return it if you don't like it and say it was defective because it didn't have both codes. Your choice.

I registered my ghd without a problem but it wasn't this one. Professional Gold 1"" and I still use it even though I use Wen.

Thanks DogLvr. I will call customer service and return the Eclipse and request free shipping. I also have the Professional Gold 1"" and love that iron. I've never had a problem registering before.

I'm wondering if anyone else who purchased the GHD Eclipse noticed the Hologram Code missing? QVC customer service forwarded my email to their product specialist. I'm waiting for their answer. A review on Amazon said they thought they had a fake because it was missing the Hologram Code.

UPDATE: For anyone who is registering their GHD iron, I found the Hologram Code on the Warning Label on the cord. Silly me, the website said it would be on the arm and the other iron I have has it on the arm also. I did register today. Guess next time I will inspect my product better
