Campanelli makeup removal cloths

[ Edited ]

These cloths are designed to remove all your makeup without a cleanser.  Is this possible?  The blonde lady demonstrating sure was rubbing her face hard trying to remove all the makeup.  She probably lost some eyelashes with all the tugging.

These cloths looks nice, but I'm still convinced that some type of cleanser needs to be used.

Re: Campanelli makeup removal cloths

I'm not sold on these. The model made my face hurt with all the rubbing and tugging. I love the Campanelli products for cleaning house but am not ready to give up my Purity to clean my face; it just seems to get into the pores. I don't see how a cloth could do that and I've got enough wrinkles without making more. I would never scrub my eyes!

It depends on what you need to remove. Some things just need a cleanser while others don't. Just be aware that microfiber cloths are really good at removing oil-based stuff from your skin and that includes your own skin oil. You can end up with dry skin if you use them too much.

The short answer is no, and certainly not on waterproof mascara.

But I have these, and I use them PLUS facial cleanser.  That combo not only does a better job removing make up, but also does a better job of getting the make up out of the cloth when you rinse it out.  I have used these for a number of years.

@Bhvbum , thanks for mentioning that. I do use them with my Purity, they dry so much quicker than normal cloths. I need to replenish my supply but didn't care for any of the prints this time. I'm waiting to see them in solid muted colors.

I use mine for dust cloths.

I love these but I use more than just water.  I use micellar water to remove eye makeup but I do use the cloths to do so.  I then put Purity on the cloth and gently rub my face.  The cloths are very easy to clean and they dry so quickly !!   I am glad I purchased them.

I love these!  To be honest I don't wear a lot of makeup.  No water proof mascara.  I'm a Bare Minerals girl.  They work great with little effort.  My skin looks & feel clean & fresh.  I do use Active Argan cleanser some nights.  I rinse it off and then use one of these cloths.  My derm says my skin is in great shape.  I wash them with no fabric softener.

@San Antonio Gal   I have to agree. I've used these towels for a couple of years and they don't take all the makeup off without cleanser. Especially after washing multiple times. They're nice and soft, but you need cleanser to remove makeup.

I passed on them because I thought the sizes were very odd, nothing size wise like a real wash cloth. I bought some microfiber wash cloths on ebay, an 8 pack for $8, I love them. I wash with my cleanser but they make it so easy to remove all traces without splashing . Use them to remove facial masks and peels too. They rinse out 100% clean too.
