My Emjoi callus remover died so I had a $10 off coupon from HSN and bought the Ped Egg Powerball callus remover. What makes it so unique is it is pivoted so it glides across your skin even when you apply a little more pressure. Plus it is RECHARGEABLE so not need for batteries. It comes with an extra roller plus one is on the tool; the charger; and two nail clippers one large and one small for $24.95 but I ended up paying under $20 with the coupon. If you need to get a gift for someone, this is highly recommended. ![]()

@Katcat1 -
It sounds like a great deal! Please give us another review after you've had it for a month or so. I love my Micro-Pedi but it might not last forever & Id be interested in other good options when it is time to replace my Emjoi.

I replaced my Emjoi and Ped Egg- manual- with a Micrplane for feet and it's the only thing that's ever removed my calluses. I also have a pedicure every three to four weeks.
I bought the Microplane because someone on this board was kind enough to suggest it and I thank that person very much!

@Katcat1 Mine died, too, and for the price I don't think it should have.

That Ped Egg sounds wonderful @Katcat1. I'm using the original Emjoi and I really like it. It's a battery-eater for sure but what I did was buy some super-heavy-duty rechargeable NiMH batteries (3800mah) and now it's even better! I haven't bought batteries for it in a long time!
Please post your review of your new Ped Egg.![]()

I use only rechargeable batteries, too. My original Emjoi is still using the same batteries I used when I first got it. I love that!

@willdob3, I know it's early for a review but I guess I am excited about the pivoted movement and the fact that I don't need batteries. However, I will let you know in a month or two how I am liking it. Hope it does not die like my Emjoi did. :catvery-happy:
