Hi- I'm trying to think of a product I saw years ago-the guy said lines, etc. are just shadows. He had a concealer that he said would block out the shadow. I laughed it was so outrageous. OK, ff to today. I need this for a scar on my decollete area from surgery. Seems I wore a lot of scoop neck tees, etc. but no more! Tried other concealers of course but nah, no good. Thanks for any suggestions.

I'm certainly not Shanus...  but what about Dermablend,  which is highly recommended to cover a scar?   ..,.  and possibly a LIGHTER color which is supposed to fill in the shadows.

I hope Shanus can help you and that you find what you are looking for.

Dimitri James (Skinn Cosmetics)????   The phrase sounds familiar to me...

I like dermablend a lot but it's too dark but you reminded me of a concealer I have that's too light! "It's so crazy it just might work!"

@nyc1  Oh my, Dermablend is a very powerful cover up.  It's meant for scars from operations.  There it works however it is so thick.

On the face I would not recommend and better for body scars.  Save your money please.

Surely there is other "concealers" as they call them.  I think it's a better option for face,

@Judaline   Hello. The most important consideration when covering a scar on the body is will it transfer to clothing.

I use BM Original Powder Foundation on my spider veins on ankle area. It doesn't transfer to my white slacks.

Especially if your scar is raised, concealers unless the exact shade, will call more attention to it. I go with those who recommended Dermablend, but see if you can find it where you can be color matched.

Hope this helps.

Dermablend also makes foundation for the face - and it's not thick.

I tried that Doll serum foundation. It shows a woman with a very large birthmark on one side of her face. She shows us as she covers it with this-totally gone. I got some for the blue in the veins of my hands. Ha! What a joke. It covered everything nicely, but the blue didn't cover.

@Pink123   Hi ... it's NOT for her face,  it's for her Decollette....  it would defiitely work there.
