I can blow dry my hair with a round boar bristle brush or a flat paddle brush with the best of them.  Been doing it for forty years so I do know how.  That still doesn't give me the look I want.  At my age, I like a little poof, a little more volume, body and soft curl.  My hair needs a little help and that's why I love the Perfecter.  It's quick and doesn't fry my hair like a curling iron does.

I believe the barrel of the Pro is longer so you can work on a wider section of hair at one time.  Saves time.

I absolutely love my Perfector and use it everyday.  I have shoulder length, layered hair and the Perfector always gives me soft, pretty curls that last all day.  I just ordered the TSV with the one inch barrel.
