Calista Rollers?

I ordered the Calista Rollers with the long rods on Friday, they were on 5 easy pays.

Was questioning my decision all weekend? I haven't used hot rollers in forever and was worried that they would be damaging to the hair, but they claim these are moisturizing? Was also super impressed with the longer rods as I have very long thick hair.

Reviews are mixed but it seems the bad reviews are from ladies with fine hair? I have thick hair so would love to hear from other ladies with thick hair!

Checked out a few videos on youtube and love the idea that I might be able to get away with 6 rods for my entire head! I don't want super curls, just more of a wave and something that may help somewhat straighten/smooth out my naturally curly hair... quickly.

Who has them, or has tried them? What do you like about them, what don't you like? Do they dry out your hair or make it frizzy? Does one clip really hold that long rod in place? Does the clip leave an indent in your hair?

Any other thoughts or advice you can share is appreciated!
