Calista Hot Rollers - Sold Out

I haven't used hot rollers in many years.  The demonstration looked really good.  I wouldn't mind throwing a couple of the long rods in my hair.

Anyone use hot rollers every now and then?

@San Antonio Gal  I love hot rollers Smiley Very HappyHeart! I have a long layered Farrah Fawcett style hair cut that's a little past my shoulders and I use hot rollers regularly.  Hot rollers are great- I use them while I'm doing my makeup or watching TV and then I shake out my hair after taking the rollers out. Great results every time! I have jumbo hot rollers and multi size hot rollers.  My favorite brand is  Conair hot rollers. Here are the ones I own.  The 2 inch gives a big volume blow out look and the multi size set is great for a bouncy big curl look. I bought them both on Amazon and they've been going strong for years now.

Thank you @SportyShorty07 .  I'm sure the Conair are priced much better than Calista (99.00) !

Re: Calista Hot Rollers - Sold Out

I use them every Sunday afternoon.  I wash my below the waist hair on Sunday morning then let it air dry.  I do use the blow dryer on my bangs.  Then I use about 8 hot rollers on the ends for a about 10 minutes and just leave the ringlets, I do not brush it out.  That takes away the natrual wavy look I have to my air dryed hair.  Then all week I wear a high pony tail with just a curling iron every morning on my bangs.

I love hot rollers.  It only take a few minutes to roll my hair and then I can go about the rest of my monring while they cool.  Mine are also the Conair jumbo rollers.  I recently replaced the Conair set I've had since the 90's and it was less than $50.

@San Antonio Gal  You're welcome Smiley Happy! Oh absolutely- the Conair Jumbo rollers are $49 on Amazon (they're currently available in a cute pink set on Amazon) and the multi size Conair hot rollers are $39 on Amazon or $28.48 on Walmart dot com. I figure if my hair looks great with Conair hot rollers, I don't want to try the fancy and expensive roller brands.  Plus, these rollers are hot enough to curl my thick hair and they don't burn my fingers when I pick them up.  Conair is the best Smiley Happy

@beckyb1012  Ooohh I love that Conair Hot Sticks turquoise and hot pink packaging color scheme- it reminds me of Miami Vice!  So great! It looks like I'll have to get these and give my Conair roller sets a new friend Smiley Very Happy

@beckyb1012 I have these too, also under my upstairs bathroom sink.  I didn't use them very much and they got really hot.  Burned both my fingers and my scalp.  However, they came in very handy when my daughter was in dance.  Every year, when they would have a recital, the teacher was adamant that they have very curly hair.  My daughter had board straight hair that was resistant to curling.  Odd, because she had wonderful curls when she was young, but when she hit puberty it went straight.  I would put those things in her hair before we left for the recital and not take them out until right before I had to leave the dressing room.  Worked great for that.
