Re: Caking with Celebreation Foundation SPF50

I tried the It Celebration Foundation a while back. It looked wonderful at 1st, but I noticed after a few hours that it separated into tiny patches in my oily T-zone...something that LG Balance & Brighten never does! I tried the IT with and without primer, same results--and it's always at least 15 minutes for me between primer & foundation.

Yes, I tried it and had caking with it. I don't really understand why but a few hours after application, it seemed to cake up and I looked terrible. I need little to no coverage but I just found that this product wasn't for me, regrettably.

Re: Caking with Celebreation Foundation SPF50

I think I have determined it's going back

Been HOT here, I put it on and it still cakes and 4-5 hours later if I get warm you can REALLY see the caking and I am only putting it on lightly!!

I like the Blush & Concealer and of course the Brush.  I don't feel that the Blush & Concealer is worth keeping the whole kit.  I have other blush I love just the same and I can buy the Conealer on it's own.

I think tonight I'll pack it back up and send it back, hate to do that but....

I think you're making the right decision.  There are so many options out there now that if you don't care for how this is working, you can find one that will and won't take 15 minutes to work.

I had to do that with my foundations too and I just kept experimenting until I found the "one" that worked for my skin.  Good luck.

I kept mine despite how much I dislike the foundation. I like the other products enough to keep it. I did cancel the auto delivery though.

Re: Caking with Celebreation Foundation SPF50

This made my pores look huge, no real staying coverage, was a tad too light and I looked shiny ( I never do?) at the end of the day. Brush nice- blush ok-a bit powdery , concealer to heavy for undereye for me .love the matte bronzer -used as a contour -BUT it all went back -tried spritzing, beauty blender ,extra primer- Forget about it.  Sent it all back cancelled Auto Delevery.  I can put on just about any liquid  foundation from dept store or drugstore and it melds to my skin color , gives coverage and minimizes pores and such. Love the IT matte shadows , matte bronzer ,and lip pencil and glosses.

Re: Caking with Celebreation Foundation SPF50

Glad I found this thread.  I thought I had hit the jackpot with a powder foundation that covered and had an spf.  I have tried it with different primers and spritzing it after I apply and with different application methods and it still is cakey and heavy looking.  It finds every wrinkle and pore you have.  Makeup should make you look better not worse.

I did end up sending mine back and then just ordered the concealer on it's own since I do like that product.

Re: Caking with Celebreation Foundation SPF50

It is really too bad that the VENDOR that sells this stuff does not read these problems and chimes in and help us out.  I wanted to try IT, but after reading these. I do not need anything to make me look older.  I have tried so many makeup lines, then i just gave up and went barefaced. not a good look either way.  Smiley Sad
