I use the retinol cream on my neck as a preventative. Lots of things irritate my neck skin; this one does not. This line, like all others, has lovers and haters.

Are they kidding with the before and after pictures under UV light? The before and after are taken in such vastly different light. The BEFORE is much lighter so you can see every dark spot on her face and the AFTER is so dark you can hardly even see her face.

I have only tried the cleanser, which I found no better than Cereva foaming cleanser. I also read, after I purchased, there was some ingredient in it which has been found to be irritating so I won't buy it again.
I do not know if the other products offer efficacy or not as I have not tried. I'm happy with retin A and PTR products.
What I don't like about Terry DuBrow is his telling viewers on Evin that is "goal" is to AVOID cosmetic surgery. That could not be further from the truth. He could not live in his 15 million dollar mansion had he not been an advocate for cosmetic surgery. That is is goal in life--to get people to improve their looks or attempt to improve their looks by performing breast implant "job", tummy tucks and rhinoplasty, etc.
I find his comments on Evine about avoiding plastic surgery disingenuous and an untruth.
I can't use biotin as I itch terribly with it. I have heard good things about those hair capsules though.

Some people get really worked up about these folks, Dr. Perricone, Dr. Denese, Linda from Elysee, etc.* I don't care who has had or admits to plastic surgery. And I don't care how much money they are making. Every skincare seller is out to make money and probably makes a lot. (There are, however, some price points [not referring to the CB line here] that just seem insane by most standards, but if someone wants it and can afford it, it is not my place to order a mental evaluation.
). I only care if I like the products.
I like the CB retinol cream and the cleanser. I found neither to be irritating. To me, most cleansers about are about the same -- the exception being an expensive sulfer-type cleanser that I got from my derm.
Give this line a try if you are curious; you can always return. No skincare is going to work miracles, though I sure wish they could.
*Not so much in this thread so far, but in previous ones that I think were on the Q board.
ETA: I agree with another poster that it seems a little silly for the doc to say he wants people to avoid ps when ps is his bread and butter.

I have no problem with any of the above hawking their skin care lines. That being said, my problem resides with Dr. Terry DuBrow saying his goal is to AVOID plastic surgery. PUHHHHLEEEZE

There's nothing special in this line. Lots of fillers, waxes, silicones, astringents, glue binders to tighten skin and water which is first on the list. Lots of ingredients that can dry and irritate the skin. Anything that might make a difference is too far down on the ingredient list. Once you stop using it, the skin returns to it's original state pretty much within hours. These two juhmokes aren't chemists. Actually, I've never hear of them. They thought of a gimmick (vitamins, [big woop]) and had standard products packaged for them. You can do your own research and buy vitamins for a lot less as can a retinol creme.
The "Before & After" pics don't show any dramatic improvement. The guy in the scrubs needs to do something with his skin because CB sure isn't helping him one bit as well as get rid of the gimmicky scrubs. The woman has way too much makeup on which covers up whatever is going on under it. In fact, they both sort of look creepy. I keep thinking of the movie "Death Becomes Her." At least in the movie no one wore black all the time.

The silly, hokey names for the actives really turn me off. Volumagen? Regenero?l Gives the products a snake oil vibe to me.

It is inane marketing that insults women's intelligence, as do those hokey graphics that many skincare companies use.
