I'm not fond of celebrity names on anything .... or designer names on any of my clothing or accessories, either.

However, over the years, there have been a LOT of different celebrity-named fragrances .... Elizabeth Taylor had a couple, I believe.

They must sell well, but who knows?  Who buys them?

So here's the question .... have you ever worn or given a celebrity perfume because of the name?

No. I am very particular about personal and home fragrance. A celebrity has zero chance of influencing me.

The only one I can think of right now is Tova. I loved LOVED LOVED her original perfumes. And she had another, lighter one, Mind, Body & Spirit that I also enjoyed wearing.

No but I don't know that I'd have anything against doing so if the opportunity presented itself and I LIKED the fragrance.  Never really thought about it.  I would not wear clothing with a celebrity's name on it.

I don't like celebrity names or initials on my purses.

I sent for a sample of Dolly Parton's fragrance because I love her. I thought with the name of butterfly, I would surely like it. But it gave me a headache.Woman Frustrated

If I like the scent and it is in my budget I would purcase a celebrity or designer fragrance. To be honest a lot of designer fragrances, such as Tom Ford, are out of my budget.

Sofia Vergara EDP.  HSN sent a sample on a card and i liked it.  She spun a lovely tale about the fragrance on TV.    i wore it 2x. Horrible masculine scent, just Putrid!!!  Michael Buble, another one who had a cute, sweet spiel.  Stinkin Gross.  That one went right back.

I have tried and then bought fragrances from many designer/Celebrity brands because of the name: Chanel, Hemes, Van Cleef and Arpel, Jo Malone and Trish McEvoy to name a few.

I did, back in the day, try and like a couple Princess Diana wore.  Yes, I know POW not PD but didn't want to confuse anyone.
