I thought this might be a fun thread to lay out what CCs are most moisturizing to least for your hair type. I thought it would be especially helpful for newbies looking for which to get. [: I have medium thickness wavy hair that is quite a bit longer than my bra strap in the back. From most to least moisturizing FOR ME is: Fig, SMC, BGT, TT, SAM, Kids SB, POM, CA, Lav, SGGT. I have not tried the old fall or winter scents, and have yet to break into my new winter scent. I also haven't tried Kids Apple or Watermelon, though I think I might get the new kit that's coming, since I have used the Watermelon detangler.

Re: CCs in level of moisture

My hair is medium, low porosity, wavy, color treated and hip length and I have about 6 inches left of shampoo hair on the ends after 2 years using Wen. I can only use the CCs with aminos right after coloring or very occasionally. So for me their moisture content doesn't really matter because the aminos make my hair feel rough and drier than normal. It didn't used to be that way, the first year using Wen I used them all the time. My hair also doesn't like POM or LAV at all. It's actually really frustrating for me that I can't use the seasonals or BGT all the time and I really like the scent of POM too.

Of the CCs I can use regularly from most to least moisture it's Fig, TT, The Kids, SAM, CA

At this point I'm using the kids and TT most often with occasional Fig, BGT or a seasonal ( I still have unopened 32oz SMC and FGP in my stash)

I've heard that kids SB is the most moisturizing (of the kids). I think I may try that next.

Fig > Everything Else. I have no idea what order they're in because once I found that Fig worked, I never went back.

Re: CCs in level of moisture

For me it was

FAS ( unfortunately can't take the scent) > SMC > SOB > Fig > WVM > SGGT > FGP > Pom > Kids Apple > SAM > TT > LAV

I cannot use Lavender at all. I also am very interested in trying the BBGT and the Kids SB. Might think of ordering the Wen Kids pack for my birthday next month. It wasn't very moisturizing but I found that the Apple cleaned my hair of all the gel and other products really well.

Re: CCs in level of moisture

I can tell you first hand that Fig and Kid's SB are the most hydrating.

I really wanted to try BGT but it appears that it is not moisturizing for those with dry hair.

If anyone uses Fig and SB mostly, what is your impression of BGT?

Long hair down to my bra strap, wavy, medium texture, & will frizz in humidity.

Re: CCs in level of moisture

I'm probably not representative because all three of the kids formulas work the same on me as do all the seasonals, I don't feel that SB is more moisturizing than Apple or Watermelon and I've used multiple bottles of all three and have gallons of SB and Apple.

I love BGT, the first time I tried it my hair was fabulous and felt silky to a level I'd never experienced with other Wen CCs. I'd have put the moisture level of BGT as on par with the seasonals. I think I'd recently colored my hair when I tried it the first time. Anyway, I think that if you can use the seasonals and 613 regularly without any problems then you'll probably love BGT.

I had crazy dry, long, thick color treated hair. Fig, 613 & SMC were my fav's, then along came BGT Smiley Happy I didn't think it was possible to get any better results than I was already getting, until I tried BGT Smiley Happy Also, my hair is obviously not crazy dry now that I'm a Wen girl....

what's interesting is I have dey color treated hair and I don't think SB is extremely moisturizing. for me it'll always be fig, fig, fig. the thing about BGT is the volume for me, which is something totally new as I don't usually use volumizers because I don't need them. unfortunately I can't really remember saying oh this is super moisturizing, but I do know that I really liked the way my hair came out, and that it wasn't dry... I HTH!

Re: CCs in level of moisture

My hair is AA relaxed. It is pretty hardy but had become broken and thinner than it used to be as a kid with continued shampoo use. I have not tried fig or CA. Fig due to smell and CA bc I don't need the astringency. LAV frizzes it. SAM and POM are the most moisturizing over TT, but TT does so many good things for it and gives good body too. Of the seasonals, WVM, FAS, SHP and FGP have been the most moisturizing.
