Is there such thing as a universal brow color...pencil or powder?  It seems everything I try looks off color.   Brows are really sparse and really need some help.

Does it have to be a pencil, @Mom2Dogs? I use RMS Back2Brow.  I have all three shades.  The light is good for my brows but they can also be used as eyeshadow, eyeliner, or contour.  Her brush with the spoolie tip and rounded bristles is worth the investment.

I have tried what every company calls a "universal" shade. Never worked for me. I was never happy with what I tried. I just bought Damone Roberts brow pencil and gel. I think it is the best. The color is finally perfect. The brow gel is not crunchy and keeps the hairs in place.

@Mom2Dogs - I agree with @JeanLouiseFinch. I've tried everything. Ash colors don't look good on me, I use both the pencil  and the powder in light. I would say it is universal because I think it's just about perfect!   Smiley Wink

I think this one is good. Find it on amazon for $11. There is a Ybf store there.

Ravie Beauty Taupe eyebrow pencil is great.  It beat out my previous number one pencil - Benefit Precisely My Brow.

I've used Anastasia Beverly Hills Brow Wiz in Taupe for many years.

for spare eyebrows , I use Laura  geller inkcredible  Waterproof eyebrow pencil.  It comes in many natural shades. (On sale on her site) Since I have very little eyebrows I then use Anastasia brow powder duo shade filler - limited colors on qvc but also sell at Ulta and many other stores. It stays on until I remove with philosophy at night.
