Not sure if anyone posted this (glanced quickly and didn't see anything) but VOX reported that Brandon Truaxe was found dead. He was 40 years old.

He was so young with so much ahead. I wonder if he committed suicide.

It's more common with men - I know from a group I attend and in grief therapy. But after reading it sounds like he didn't treat a mental illness perhaps biploar and self medicated instead. Very troubling people do not seek help or see it as a stigma. I'm not saying he had Bp but from this article I am now questioning as many brilliant minds have that illness.

The Ordinary was SO reasonably priced and good and many love it.

My niece was telling me about the company and some probs. She said it was not going to shut down just change or something I forget.

God rest his soul.

The board of directors booted him out of the company a few months back, I read. He was said to be highly eccentric and difficult. I'm sorry to hear this happened

Never heard of him or his company, but it sounds as though possibly alcohol or drugs caused his demise.

That is really too bad, he started that company ,people like their products.

I wasn’t aware of who he was so I read the VOX article.

I also dropped into his Instagram account.  Ooof.

Yeah, he was hospitalized for mental issues back in

November & most recently uploaded posts of drinking, etc. 

Lots of political stuff, as well.

Seemed like a nice, smart guy.

Most likely suicide or unattended overdose.

BT struggled as an unmedicated bipolar diagnosis; he tried unsuccessfully to close Deciem several months ago. ELauder who owned a chunk of Deiem had to intervene legally.

I am sorry for this young man and hope he has found peace on the other side of the veil.
