Botox question

About Botox or stuff that is injected in to the body, where does it go eventually? I heard that its never eliminated by the body and as It needs to be repeated every so often, what happens to it? I'm imagining little pouches of the stuff settling somewhere else on the body. Don't like the idea and it's what is keeping me from trying it.
