I never found a reason to "decorate" my nails.

A good manicure in a neutral tone never competes with clothing or jewelry.

Maybe you should get a few tattoos, lol.  Woman LOL

I have eight tattoos. Probably that's enough haha.  Good point about the neutral mani

@smoochy Love it haha.  My vote is pick a great color or two if you are bored, or check out pics online to gather inspiration before getting them done! While neutral is great for mostly everything, I need color sometimes to perk up my nails and attitude lol.

One thing is true.... a nicely-done manicure (no matter if done at home or at a salon, however you like it) is one thing always front and center! My hairdresser and I joke it's the one thing on our body (nails) that always looks shiny and young lol.

I get a manicure every two weeks.  Over the years it was wraps, acrylics, powder & glue and now I just get a basic mani.

I tend to get colors that look good with my skin tone (like my clothing) and my nail color tends to work well with what I'm wearing.

I think for a special occasion it would be fun to try something different but I can't be bothered to spend that kind of money for just an everyday look.
