Going to a wedding Labor Day weekend I am considering getting a spray tan, which I hav done before. I am wearing a black off the shoulder dress

Or is there a great body bronzer that does not rub off, like the Tom Ford Estee Lauder.

thanks all

Re: Body Bronzer or Spray tan?

The spray tan will last longer whereas the bronzer will wash away. It all depends what your preference as far as if you want to be tan for another several days. Spray tans have come such a long way from what they used to be. You can get a very natural looking shade or choose to be as dark as you want. Actually I have not met a bronzer that did not rub off. I haven't tried the Tom Ford that you mentioned.

I'd do the fake tan. I don't trust any body makeup to stay put and a wedding is one of those events where there are going to be a TON of cameras everywhere, so I would definitely not risk it then.

Re: Body Bronzer or Spray tan?

I'd chose the spray tan. I've had a spray tan with the "instant bronzer" and within a couple hours the bronzer had settled into my pores and looked like blackheads. It also accumulated around my neck looking like dirt! I won't do the bronzer again. But I do love a spray tan that develops beautifully over several hours.

Have fun at the wedding.

@I am still oxox  I don't wear either but I would purchase Westmore body coverage or whatever it is called.  It was recently a TSV and it is waterproof and won't transfer on your clothes and adds some color to your skin.  Check it out.  It covers all marks or discolorations on your skin.

Thanks all

Since I am tan and the spray tan has some draw backs, (no chlorine and I go to the pool on weekends) I bought the Laura Mercier - Liquid Illuminatier, which I will use on my shoulder and cleavage.

The sales clerk said she did the same thing for a wedding, I tried it with a big brush and it has just the glow I want

Re: Body Bronzer or Spray tan?

I don't do either any more but I highly recommend getting a spray tan.  I used to get them occasionally and really liked the way they looked.  So much easier than messing with a product yourself and the result was very nice.  Lasted well if you follow the guidelines.
