I saw Mary Beth with Mally this morning. HD television is not kind to any of us but it really reinforced for me that less is more when it comes to aging and makeup. Black eyeliner and cakey foundation looks especially unfortunate.🥺

makeup for stage or tv is a whole different thing. By necessity it has to be bolder with max coverage.

Coverage still does not mean cakey @smoochy . There are some very good foundations that don't appear that way even with HD television.

I found this year that I am wearing more tinted lip balms rather than satin lipsticks. I recently decluttered all of my matte lipsticks as they do not look good on me.

My lipsticks are various brands but I tend to buy Asian beauty ones.

i do like the Tatcha Kissu tinted balm lipstick SPF25 in Camellia and Plum Blossom that I bought at Sephora in the U.S.

I like tinted lip alms and feel they are flattering to most women. I like the feel on my lips. I do still wear full coverage lipsticks. But, rotate with IT Je Ne Sais Quoi lip balms.
