Bobbi Brown foundation?

Did anyone notice how clean the models' skin looked after Bobbi applied her foundation on them? I would like that non-powdery glow. Wondering if your skin has to be almost perfect to begin with to achieve this look? Also wondering if the foundation is oily and would cause breakouts? Does anyone know?
