Very helpful, thank you.  Blush is the only makeup I struggle with.

@monicakm  - watched the video and it was very helpful.  I like Niki La Rose a lot and she does a great job showing how to apply the different blushes.

@JudyL  Aren't you glad that these California rain storms are over Smiley Very Happy?  Now I can do all of my walks around the city and go to the botanical garden again Smiley Happy.

@SportyShorty07  - Yesterday and today have been so nice on my side of the Bay too.  However, I do hear we are to have more rain on Tuesday.  But we shall see.

@JudyL   That's so great to hear that you're seeing sun and great weather on your side of the bay Smiley Very Happy! It might rain tonight in my side of the bay and then it'll rain on Tuesday and I'll have more sun later in the week,  By the way, did you hear that Macy's Union Square is going to close next year?Smiley Surprised I can't beleive it- that's a huge blow to Union Square.   I love going to Macy's and shopping around and eating in their bottom floor  food court- I'm praying for some type of miracle that it will stay in business.  Westfield Centre Mall is at 50 percent occupancy, but it has a new owner and plans to stay open and attract new businesses to occupy the storefronts.

@SportyShorty07  - I was shocked to hear about Macys.  I know the Macy at Bayfair Mall in San Leandro is closing but never thought the Union Square Macys would close.  Thats an SF icon!    I am so sad about what's happened to Westfield Mall.  I loved going in there, going to Nordstrom's.  It's so beautiful inside and I always felt  la-te-da when I went in there.  LOL  I remember one time during a lunch hour, I took BART from EC3 to Westfied Mall to pick up some makeup at Nordies.  Knew it would be cutting my lunch hour tight but did it anyway.  While there, there was a bomb scare - this was years ago, early 2000's - and they weren't letting anyone out of the Mall, not even to get on BART.  I had to call my boss and say "uhmmm, I'm going to be late getting back to the office because I'm stuck at Nordies."  She laughed and almost didn't believe me until she turned on the news.  HAHA  Luckily, the bomb scare was nothing other than someone left their backpack on the ground by the newspaper stands in front of the store.

@JudyL   I was so shocked to hear the Macy's Union Square SF is closing- its a flagship location and as you said, a San Francisco icon! What'll happen to the Cheesecake Factory? Boudin Bakery? The Macy's food court? The ASPCA kittens in the Christmas window displays? When Macy's closes next year, I'll need to take BART to the nearest Macys- it's definitely doable, but I loved taking a short bus trip or the underground train or the F-market there.   I have great hope for this city and I think that downtown can have a turnaround in terms of foot traffic and more shoppers, but it will take a while. Its interesting how The Japan Town Center mall is doing very well, but Stonestown Mall and Westfield Centre aren't having as many shoppers as years before.  I'll do my part and keep visiting these malls when I can because I love malls and I love mall food courts! Smiley Very HappyHeart

The Westfield Mall is stunning Smiley Very HappyHeart- I loved it so much that I worked retail there in my 20's.  The oval shaped skylight, the twisting curved escalators, the marble floors, The Food Emporium and more- I haven't been there since the pandemic started and I'm going to go back there to shop and eat at the food court  again.  When I worked there a few years before the pandemic, we had to deal with nude streakers and shoplifting- but business was booming and it was always lively and crowded. I blame mall and store closings on Covid lockdown protocol and the worldwide increase in online shopping during the pandemic.

Your story made me smile and laugh! I loved that Nordies- I also would go there during my lunch breaks and purchase makeup.  Wow! What a valid and thrilling excuse- a bomb scare at the mall while shopping at Nordies Smiley WinkSmiley Very Happy! I bet your boss got a kick out of it and was glad that you were ok.

Re: Blush Guide: Every Single Blush Formula & How to Apply Them

what I've learned on my own is that with creme blush, I wait a minute after applying it to one cheek. That allows the flush from rubbing the skin to dissipate. That way when I do the other side, I'm matching the level of color from the product and not the added color from rubbing it in. If that makes any sense. Lol 😝
