Blue Light Therapy and Sal Acid-Don't Use together!

I learned the hard way! I recently bought a blue light device from Revive Clinical. I only skimmed through the manual and didn't notice that you should use the device on your skin before you apply any product. Like a fool, I applied a salicylic acid toner and a serum and went to town. A few days later, i noticed darkening on my cheek in the shape of the LED lights! Yikes! Thank God they have good customer service and replied to my emails the same day letting me know that salicylic acid may be a light activated ingredient causing the darkening. And that is my PSA for the daySmiley Wink
