Blendingly challenged

Been watching these great Lisa Eldridge and Goss videos lately and -- makeup epiphany: They spend more time blending than they do actually applying the makeup, be it foundation, concealer, or eye shadow.

The biggest challenge is being patient & taking the time to blend and buff everything well. Most of my brushes came with product and are intended for application, same with the ones I've bought. I need to try out my spare brushes for blending and if they're not dense enough maybe get 1 or 2 more specifically for this purpose.

Interested if anyone else is discovering this, or maybe has mastered the art of blending. Suggestions, tips, comments welcome.
