[Mom2Dogs]

I'd like to order the Bare Minerals concealer, bisque.  I didn't see where we are told how to order the colors...is bisque the 'original' color?  I order fairly light when I order foundation, would the 'bisque' color be ok for me?

@Mom2Dogs   Yes Bisque is the original shade for fair/light skin tones. Well Rested is too yellow for me and Bisque, although quite light, shows up slightly pink and noticeable on my skin. I can't use either. I pre-conceal w/ my BE Foundation.

It does sound like the original shade will be good for you.

I’ve used it before but the next shade, summer bisque, is best for me. I happened to catch part of a presentation of it and it prompted me to dig out my jar and try it again. I’ve used it for years but, for some reason, had stopped. I tried it the next day and have been using it not just as concealer but as my foundation ever since. It looks so much better than the IT foundation and concealer I was using! I don’t have a lot of the summer bisque left so I ordered the good deal on QVC. I used to look for that every year.

@Mom2Dogs   To clarify, I wear Light in Bare Minerals original foundation. I used to wear Fairly Light, but was re-matched recently as my skin lightened as I got older. My complexion has some pink in it, but I prefer a neutral foundation and add color from there. That's why the Bisque and Well Rested didn't work for me.

Summer Bisque is the most popular shade, usually most mediums wear this one.

@Shanus ...my skin is slightly pink as well and prefer a neutral foundation.  Currently I have both lancome and Bare mineral foudation/loose.  I can't say I love either one.

@Mom2Dogs   Check Estée Lauder Double Wear Foundation. The shades are marked "n" for neutral and several choices for fair skin.

I like the Summer one too for all over foundation
