Several days ago Biography's "Scents of Self 4-piece Fragrance Collection by Sarah Horowitz" was featured on QVC.  All four of the fragrances sounded light and lovely but I was hesitant to order.  I went to Sarah Horowitz's website and discovered that you can buy individual samples of all of her fragrances for $2 - or little collections for $12.  I ordered "Perfect Veil" and if I like it, I'll probably end up buying the QVC set because it's a good value.  Just wanted to pass along this sample info in case anyone wanted to try these fragrances in a more economical way before buying the $85 set here.

Angel, I received my sample today and I'm happy I didn't pay for a full-size because I didn't care for it!  I'm sorry to say this but "Perfect Veil" smells like a feminine deodorant spray to me!  It's not a youthful scent, it's stale and powdery.  I'm sure there are other Sarah Horowitz fragrances I would like, but this one wasn't for me.  I'll give some of her other fragrances a shot, though.  Sampling fragrances is a thrill for me.

@TuesdayTaylor, I wasn't going to post anything because you sounded excited about receiving the products.

In light of your reaction, though, I'll tell you that about a year or so ago, I spoke with Sarah on the phone about getting some samples. She was super nice and very helpful. I think she ended up sending me quite a few. My reaction to them was neutral. I didn't dislike them, but I certainly wasn't wowed enough to buy a FB.

Aww, that's so nice of you Suzy, you didn't want to rain on my parade.    I can't remember the last time I disliked a fragrance so much!  Hearing that you've had an opportunity to try several samples and nothing thrilled you makes me think I'll put my Sarah Horowitz fragrance curiosity to rest.
