Beware of phony Amazon.com order shipping e-mail 5/26.....

Just called Amazon.com to figure out what exactly was ordered (2 e-mails, different order #'s). The rep said that this was his 4th call with exactly the same order #'s. Forwarded them to stop-spoofing@amazon.com. Also, do not click on the zip attachment!!!! Spam for sure.

Thanks for the heads up! Amazon confirmations never come with a .zip attachment or any attachment for that fact! I am expecting a package tomorrow, but UPS sent me a confirmation with no attachment as usual!

Yeah, I got that too last week and I JUST placed an order with Amazon too! Luckily, Google Chrome, my browser, blocked it automatically. Whew!

Thanks for that information. I got that notice from Amazon and was surprised since I don't have a current order. My provider sent it to the spam file and I noticed the Amazon message in that file when I was looking for something else.

Clears up the confusion. I didn't open it because I was suspicious.

Amazon is starting to have a lot of problems. The other day, I was watching a video on you-tube recommending a moisturizer and the channel hostess said, "DON'T BUY FROM AMAZON because you might get a fake." Unfortunate.
