NickNack, I found CereVe cleanser, which doesn't test on animals as well as Serious Skin Care. I've tried the A Cleanser from SSC and like it too. I don't use it on my eyes though because its too strong but the CereVe, yes I do. I use the foaming cleanser on my face and the hydrating cleanser for my eyes. CereVe is now much easier to find in many stores and if not, amazon or many online stores carry it.

That's unrealistic, sadly. It's more about profit than ever now, and they're not going to explain that formulations were altered to be able to make more money. I'm guessing they'd claim that the new formulations are BETTER! That's why it's up to us to learn and share what we can.

I'd love a caller to ask that question on air, though, just to see them tap dance.

I am so surprised this hasn't happened in the few years I've watched. But I suppose QVC has a delay or something for callers so they can "drop" the call if a caller starts going down that roard. Don't you think?

They may have a delay now because they didn't years ago. Someone called and was talking to Rick and asked him who he thought he was to say such and such. His mouth just about dropped to the floor. He did manage to get less condescending since that call. {#emotions_dlg.thumbup1}

funny story-- like 6 years ago i was at my mom's house and she was in the other room watching qvc and she yelled down the hall for me to come see what was on tv. i didn't make it in time to see what she wanted to show me but when i got there my mom was laughing so hard she was crying and she was like, "you'll never believe what just happened on the air". they were selling a shower head, you know the kind that is attached to a hose that you can take off the wall so you can reach everywhere and you can also use it to rinse your tub more easily? anyway, the caller was raving about the showerhead and how much she loved it and how the adjustable water pressure was great, etc. and then at the end of the call she said it was also great for, ahem, a much more personal use. except i guess she was a lot more graphic than that. i asked what the host's reaction was and my mom said that they just completely ignored it and found a way to end the call while this person was going on and on about how much she loved it. i can't remember who the host was but i guess they handled it as well as could be expected. i would assume they'd get a delay or something after that but since it is live tv, i can't imagine any delay they'd get could be for so long.

I was a Philosophy addict for 9 years. After my second AD super-size Microdelivery Scrub had ZERO exfoliation I decided I'm done! It had the same consistency as Purity Made Simple. Christina would be crushed at what has happened to the quality of her creation. I now have a loving relationship with Josie Maran Cosmetics and my beauty routine has become so simplified I don't have to line up 7 layers of anti-aging products every morning and night.

I got into Josie's Argan Oil & skin responded greatly. I still had numerous Philsophy items on AD though ---- I started reading reviews on the 'new' products & many were negative especially regarding fragrances not lasting or smelling different. One item I got still on AD (body lotion) was NOT THE SAME as before. One by one I cancelled most of the Philosophy items I'd used for years. I've kept only Three products which I get great results from: The Great Mystery and Microdelivery Peel Pads. I'm almost out of my SuperSize Purity cleanser though and I wonder if any of you use the new formula with good results & believe it's the same formulation??? If not which facial cleanser would be similar?? Ive used Purity for 7 years & never thought of changing until now. Thanks.
Josie Maran's cleansing oil ROCKS!

I have been surprised how many other bath products are out there and are as good or even better than Philosophy...and much less money also.

Lovesrecess (or anyone else), which ones do you feel are as good or better than Philosophy? I haven't been able to find anything I like as well. I quit using Philosophy because they test on animals and am now using Bath & Body Works.

I was using Olay shower stuff...LOVED...but they test on animals. I also liked Softsoap's Island something...very beachy! Not sure if they do test on animals...does anyone have a brand that does not test on animals? The Bath and Body Works stuff gets me rashy...

Yes, I talked on the air once just to see if there was---and there is no delay...couldn't believe it!

Philosophy says they don't test on animals; but other places say they do. Who do you believe? I need another brand, I guess, but one for very sensitive skin. I also react to Bath and Body Works, although I really like it!
