Re: Best smudge proof eyeliner for very oily eyelids

I can wear BB gel eyeliners for 15 hours straight and they never smudge.I use them with the Geller small eyeliner brush, which gets washed after each use.

I agree with Trish Mcevoy's Eye base. That is on my eyes every day before any other eye products. It works wonders!

Re: Best smudge proof eyeliner for very oily eyelids

I have extremely oily lids.

I always apply primer first. My two faves are Laura Geller's new Invisible Spackle for eyes, and Smashbox's new 24 Hour primer. Both of these are clear enough to apply a little under the bottom lashes as well as on the lid.

These liners don't smudge on me:

Laura Geller Eye Rimz, Smashbox Always Sharp liners, Buxom Hold The Line liners, Marc Jacob Highliner Gel Crayon, Tarina Tarantino Hyperliners.

Gel liners and liquid liners don't smudge on me, but they're sometimes a pain to apply.

There are a few others that work well for me, but they're sadly discontinued.

I have very oily eyelids and, as long as I use a good primer (I use Urban Decay), all eyeliners and shadows stay put. I like BE loose liners and also BE Ready liners best. They go on easy & stay perfect until I remove them - even when I forget to take my makeup off before a sweaty workout.

I just started using Mally's from the recent TSV. It is the only liner that has stayed on. Her eyeshadow stick also works very well.

I too like this one, black navy I think it is. I also got one from her web site that is my absolute favorite, khaki, got 2 but her S&H is terrible so will wait for a special and hope QVC gets this shade in, love it.

I do use a cheapie lid primer I got at Target, ELF, $1 in a tube, let it totally dry than apply eye liner. I put this on first than do everything else and lastly do my eye lining.

I do go on a Wait List for LG eye lining pencils, I Care ones, good deal.

BTW, love that whole entire last Mally TSV, a favorite.
