Montana, you will love whatever mascara you presently prefer all the more when it's layered over Laura Geller's black primer.  I never like to wear more than two coats of anyone's mascara, so when I want enhanced length and volume, I always start with the Geller Primer then onto whichever mascara I will wear (usually one from Lancome).  I too on occasion wear Laura's lash primer without adding additional mascara. However, that is a very natural lash look.. but sometimes that's the intent.
