No, that's not Dolly it's Judy Ogle.

Judy Ogle was Dolly Parton's best friend and personal assistant for many years. They met as children and remained close through school and Parton's fame. Ogle accompanied Parton on tour and worked on many of her projects..

Some of these aren't even the real person, like Gwyneth Paltrow. I think someone's been altering these pictures.

That sure does look like Dolly's' friend, in subsequent pics!

I heard/read somewhere were Dolly was asked:

"Who has seen her without makeup."

"When will someone see her without makeup."

Dolly is supposed to have said:  

   "WHEN I'M DEAD!." 

        heh  Seems so far, true, but maybe not even then!

When DH and I were traveling we stopped at one of our favorite southern chain restaurants. Our server had worked at Dollywood and knew Dolly. He said she sometimes would come around at night. He also said the average park goer wouldn't recognize her at all, which is what she wants. And of course he said she was the nicest person ever! He told us she has a lot of relatives who resemble her too. 

I posted before,  we met her in Texas at Sea World before her concert there. We were walking by and our paths crossed. She stopped and looked right at 4-year old DD and started talking to her. She was so kind. 

DH and I were planning to attend her concert. DH drove DD home where she would stay with our teenage babysitter, and I scoped out a seat on "the map" or on the hillside. Of course her concert was great! 

I have heard stories from people who interacted with famous people. I have heard stories about their not being not who they seem to be, or being rude to their staff. I have never ever heard anything remotely like that about Dolly. I don't know her, but I would give anything to be her friend!

Make up sure makes a big difference on most of these women.  

Dolly Parton would never go out without her make up.   Somebody said they never saw her without.  Jane Fonda or Lilly Thomlin said it.  Can't remember who.  

Those didn't even look close to Dolly to me.    I do t think that pic is Gwyneth Paltrow in number 9.

When Dolly Parton was interviewed she said


Nobody has ever seen her in public without makeup.


She even wears her makeup to bed each night!


She removes it when she gets ready the next day.


She said she hoped as she was getting ready that her Husband Carl didn’t have an emergency and she needed to call 911 !!
