I use the unscented Beekman soap and love it.  My boyfriend likes the soap, but wants one with a scent.  Which scent would be good for a man - he doesn't want anything too flowery.

Thanks.

Re: Beekman soap recommendation

Hi..

Love all of the Beekman soaps...

Don't think they have a scent for just men...

Josh and Brent recomend Whitewater as a unisex fragrance...

To me, it has a fresh, clean scent...

If boyfriend does not like it, you might...

Or you could try Fresh Air....

He will probably like Honey & Oats but there's no honey in it. LOL!!! It's the only one DH will use.

Maybe fresh air since it has a light lemon smell or the Honey & Orange which also has no honey.

They have some others I have not tried like Davesforth, Oak Moss, White Water & Sweet Grass so I have no idea what they smell like.

If I were a man I would pick Honey & Oats because it also has exfoliating properties.

I don't think it really matters since the scents don't linger.

Re: Beekman soap recommendation

I think the Fig would be the scent for a guy.  My partner uses another product that's Fig and I find it on the masculine side. I have the Beekamn fig soap but haven't tried it. But the bar itself smells fit for a man to use.  Not foral at all.

@Nightowlz  & @Neversaynever3dogs  - thanks for your recommendations.  I will have to choose for him - LOL!

I wish they would make a sampler set of soaps in a small size, to try all their scents.

I believe they do but only once or twice a year.  They are the half size bars in a variety pack.  Keep your eye out.

Vanilla - with most brands of bath and body products- is unisex!

Re: Beekman soap recommendation

All good suggestions...

Beekman does have the palm size soap which is easier to handle and doesn't last as long as the full size bar...

I agree that the scent does not last long...

.

If you go to the Beekman website and click on the different soaps,  they give a description of each of the frangrances that is in the soap...

I am currently using Fresh Air and I think that this would work for men. It's a light fresh scent that doesn't linger. There doesn't seem to be any floral notes in this one.

Thanks everyone for your responses.  I will look at Beekman's site for a description of the scents and keep watch for the smaller size soaps.
