Hello All! I just saw a headline that the guys did a podcast talking about their retirement. They apparently have made their plans but I did not see actually when it is happening.

Guess it was inevitable. They truly did a great job with Beekman 1802 and I found their body products wonderful. Guess we will hear when or if anyone can find the podcast we might have more info.

Just an FYI that has been expected.

I know they sold their company some time ago but were to remain as the on-air people.   So maybe that has changed.

I often wonder if Brent has kept up his medical license. Obviously, he has not practiced in a long time.

@sandylu

Thanks for the info....they had a great run on HSN and QVC and I sure bought a lot of thier products....and liked most all of them a LOT....

They did a great job on TeeVee and sounds like they were highly successful in the larger beauty stores, although I don't know if that was after they sold thier line for millions and just retained the name....

And..they're young enough to still enjoy life!!!

I'm sure if they leave and their products are no longer sold on shopping channels, something else will fill the vacuum.....

They're super corny but... today...we can use a little corny...

May they sail off to retirement in a cloud of bubbles....take the money and enjoy it.

I would!

seems it happens a lot that founders sell there companys once they've made it .  Philosophy for instance .  They seem young to retire .

I did not know they sold their company.  Who bought them?

@Othereeeen, I think their biggest and best run was on Shop HQ/Evine/ShopNBC/ValueVision....the channel has had so many different names over the years it's hard to keep track. Ha! That is where I first discovered Beekman 1802. And in their hey day there the channel went all out with decor and goat overload. It was new and fun. And I thought the hosts there did a great job presenting the products and having a really good time in the process!

@sunshine45

Thanks for the information.  I don't know where I've been but I had no idea.  Now I know why there are so many in depth products that I wondered how they produced them on the farm.

They are not retiring.  They said on the Podcast they have their plans set for when they want to retire but it won't be for awhile yet.
