Re: Beauty with Benefits Box

This seems to happen every year.  I wonder if they have a limited amount of boxes. I did receive mine. Some items good, some not so good. I think it's all in the timing.

Please explain "it's all in the timing" when I ordered May 7 and didn't get one and someone who said she ordered May 16 got one AND when they were saying on TV on May 17 that GWPs were still available.

So how does this "timing" work?

Re: Beauty with Benefits Box

It was bait and switch and I won't participate again. It's very easy to be ethical and honest and stop promoting the Beauty with Benefits Box when they are all spoken for, but QVC, instead, takes advantage. It's also absurd to say they can't honor their commitment. QVC makes plenty of money and could at least send comparable items even if they have to eat the cost. Having to do that would also be a good reminder to be more conscientious and honest iin the future. I work with breast cancer patients so I find QVC's using people particularly concerning. And to the flippant customer service people who say things like, "Well you should just feel good giving to cancer." You're right. I do. And since QVC only gives a portion of the money to the charity, I'm returning all of the items I purchased during the event and giving that entire amount (plus) directly to a reputable cancer charity. QVC should feel really good about that afterall.

Exactly and when I asked the Customer Care team what they were going to do to make this right - the best Alice could offer was to ask me if I would like her to "forward my dissatisfaction to management."  Seriously????
