Re: Beauty vendors take note.

I don't think most will admit to it not only for their 'work done' but also for their use of HGH which I find most deceptive.

I don't care one way or another.  As far as I am concerned, the vendor could be using other products.  They are being paid to present the product is all.

You do have to respect Dr. Denese, who has been very open and honest about the work she's had done.  I like her products, and I deeply appreciate her honesty.  It's refreshing.

Actually, early on she never would comment on it at all, letting everyone assume it was her products.  Then one day it was all over the internet (years ago), basically because her last go-around did not leave her looking natural and people were shocked.  In fact, because she had to go in again and get it straightened out and there was so much hoopla on line (not here even tho there was a lot of talk)... she finally had to come out and say she had work done.  It was interesting how she handled it, not very honest or open at all imho....  and I believe it cost her quite a few customers because of it.

Re: Beauty vendors take note.

I recently read an article about Ali McGraw who is 78, has never had any work done and looks great.  I sometimes watch the cosmetic shows but skip any items that suggest they can make you look years younger.  I stick to Neutrogena and Olay.  Personally I would never choose to have any work done on my face or any other part of my body.  At 67 I am what I am!!!

Re: Beauty vendors take note.

A product is a product is a product.

There are a zillion other reasons why someone would have good skin.

What do they eat?

What do they drink?

Do they sleep/rest well?

Do they have stress?

Do they smoke?

Have they smoke?

Do they exercise?

Do they run (many runners have early sagging of facial muscles)?

What does they Mother/Father look like?

Do they/have they live(d) in a humid or dry climate?

etc.

What topical product or what surgery they have had is waaaaaay

down on the list.  Plus, If in doubt, just look at their neck, hands,

arms, legs for some of the answers to the questions above.

Amazes me so.many.women buy expensive, not-needed products

just because the vendor looks a certain way.  We all come from a

different point of view.

I doubt that it will ever happen.  Dr. Denese definitely has been under the knife.  They all want you to think they look good because of their product(s).

Re: Beauty vendors take note.

Even IF you have had cosmetic work done, you STILL must use good skin care.

So, I don't really care if they have surgery or whatever.  You still need good skin care to maintain any results.

I don't think about looking younger, only the best I can be at my age.
