Re: Beauty upkeep for older working women

I love this thread because it makes me realize I'm not alone. We all have the same beauty challenges as age is affecting us. I feel just like you all and do much the same to stay on top of things. I think we shouldn't be so hard on ourselves and let go of some of what we used to do while still making an effort to look our best.

I have always been low maintenance but as I get older I find it takes a lot more effort for me to obtain my low maintenance look.

Re: Beauty upkeep for older working women

I'm with Jazzbabe. I still work though I could retire, because I love what I do and they treat me like an queen. Why quit? I'm useful. But it requires THOUGHT now to keep up with my looks.

One thing I ADORE is the Q--I can find comfortable but decent clothes without prowling shops and taking time away from home and my doggies. I find great makeup and they show you how to use it.

I find I have to spend MUCH more time on my hair.

I too was a low-maintenance gal--I didn't even wear makeup until I left graduate school! (Then I made up for lost time!)
