Beauty shopping in Las Vegas

If you visit the Las Vegas strip, there’s plenty of places to look and buy beauty products. I visited all 4 Sephora stores on the strip and bought a nice 3 piece Tocca Stella gift set and a Clarisonic silicone brush head.

Nordstrom in the Fashion Show mall has had a makeover and has a cosmetic makeover - gone are the cosmetic counters of old. I bought a Lipstick Queen Jean Queen lipstick and a Sigma brush set duo on clearance that has the Sigma F10 blush brush and Sigma brush cleanser.

Lastly I also bought a Clinique color pop lipstick at Macy’s. Both Nordstrom and Macy’s had a full selection of Clinique lipsticks in store while Sephora has pulled them from their stores.

Lastly, check out the Marshalls store mid strip as they carry lots of makeup and skincare where I also bought another Clinique lipstick.

@TYLots of places to shop when you're not in the mood for any kind of casino activity.  That's true all over the city as well as in the tourist area.

@TY  I love beauty shopping in vegas!  Where is the Marshalls store?  We usually stay at the Palazzo and they have a store with cosmetics from Bobbi Brown, MAC, etc.  It's right off the casino and usually not crowded.  Everything is on display to sample and the girls have always been real nice there and just let me 'play' Smiley Happy  No high pressure at all to purchase.

We were in Las Vegas a couple weeks ago and I kept having those ladies who offer free samples of skin or eye cream running after me!  😃

@TY   got married there I was 44 (2nd time around)...it was fun back then with the shops and the Sephora outside of Venetian made me thrilled back then....that was all new to me as I was a single mom before....not much exposure I guess to Sephora in my area that I knew of.

I think they pulled Clinique b/c Ulta has it now and brick and mortar does.

Also the lippies they had (loved them- but love many lol) are now discontinued like their best sellers and many are mad on the reveiws of the newer ones with similar name (bought 2 of them they are so NOT the same). I'm sure they are selling them to Marshall's and tjmaxx and online people.

Tocca btw is lovely...I enjoy Florence <3

The Marshalls store and a nearby Ross store are on the east side of the center strip across from the remodeled Park MGM (formerly the Monte Carlo) and the New York, New York casinos. There's also a giant Coca Cola store and a giant M&Ms store where you can buy all sorts of clothes and trinkets. The strip mall is called Showcase mall.

Also I want to say that the new Eataly food court in the Park MGM casino entrance just opened and it's a light and airy venue to get pizza, pasta, or gelato.

I didn't visit the Ross store this time but the Marshalls has a lot of higher end makeup and skin care. I saw a lot of Perricone, Bare Minerals, Peter Thomas Roth and a lot of Tocca fragrances.

The 4 Sephora stores are a stand alone store on the strip just south of the Venetian casino, a store in the Fashion Show mall, a store in the Shops at the Forum - that mall is attached to the north end of Cesar's Palace casino. And the 4th Sephora is in the Miracle Mile mall which is attached to the Planet Hollywood casino.

If you want to visit an Ulta store, it's an Uber or cab drive away from the casinos as it's south of Mandalay Bay casino in the Town Square plaza. There's also a Saks off 5th outlet store next to the Ulta store.

I didn't visit the South Premium Outlet mall this time, but it's also an Uber or cab ride away from the casinos. There's lots of shoe stores to visit there including Naturalizer, Clarks and Skechers.

I also want to say that this time we stayed at the Flamingo resort - that is center strip across from Cesar's Palace. You don't have to be a guest there to visit their flamingo gardens. It's in the back of the resort behind the casino closer to the registration desk. They are live flamingos, a pair of pelicans (both pelicans are rescues that can't fly as they have damaged wings) and assorted ducks. There's also a giant happy Buddha in the garden and the tradition is to rub it's tummy, the wealth symbol medallion he's wearing, and his bald head for good luck and then drop some change into the nearby box.

Yup, those ladies and men who are trying to give you a free sample of some lotion are annoying. No matter what mall or casino's shopping areas, they are there.
