How does one "follow" a "Beauty Blogger?" .. Only manually? .. or is there some electronic means, like a "Q setting" somewhere?  TIA

@Franklinbell  Ohhh...Thank you for responding.

I was thinking following Q Board members, (vs example YT Beauty Bloggers).

I have an enormous pile of puter folders, each is a YT Beauty Blogger, or "Expert" that I've collected thru the years.  I havent checked in in awhile, but then, I wld continue to, fairly regularly look up, & "follow."

.. (Altho not checked in recently), my most recent YT Beauty I've found & like, (esp her remarkable "B&F's" (for aged women)) is:  rxstrmom

I stumbled on someone named Tati Westbrook, or something like that, watched her a few times and quit.  In the past I watched Wayne Goss a little and Hot 'n' Flashy once in a while. I don't watch anyone regularly.  I don't get caught up in makeup trends.  I know what I like and shop accordingly.  I've pretty much followed the same application  methods most of my life.  The only exceptions have been adding highlighter and I learned how to tightline under my upper lash line. 🤷‍♀️

ETA - Ooops, I forgot about the Welsh brothers (thanks @JudyL ).  I do watch them a little bit when they pop up on Facebook videos.  James has influenced me a tiny bit - his recommendation to mist between skincare steps.  I did that for awhile.  I still mist during my routine but not quite as often.  Robert has had zero influence.   Mostly find them entertaining, when they interact, more than gleaning instructional advice from them.

@Franklinbell  - I watch Emily Noel, Allie Glines, Lisa J, Julia Adams, Mandy Lea, Risa does Makeup, Tamara's Timeless Beauty.  A couple I try to watch every week, others I just watch if the title of the video sounds interesting.  Used to watch Angie Hot & Flashy but haven't in a while same with Wayne Goss.

James Welsh - he does skin care and again only watch if the title interests me.

I subscribe to several and have listed them here 2-3 times.  Most here aren't interested because they are much younger.  Most are  in their 30s, a couple in their 40s and a couple in their 20s.

I'm not a regular viewer. It seems if a new makeup "thing" or Sephora Sale, they're all on it and it gets a bit boring.

When a new foundation comes out there are 15 videos about it. I'd rather investigate for myself.

I'm not a good one to ask since I get samples of new products in the mail and also classes to learn new techniques.

BTW, there really isn't anything that new that comes out. It becomes repeats of the same shadow color stories, mascaras, liners and techniques. Most of the videos are for full face looks and I don't do that on myself anymore. The "influencers"are just that and if you watch regularly, it's YouTube QVC...forcing a feeling of having to purchase more that's not needed.

I used to watch LisaLisaD, but that black winged liner and darker than lipstick liner is so 80's. She's in NC, so I gave her some time, but just not a look I'd try on anyone.

I will check in every few weeks with Michele Wang. I'm more a dept. store makeup purchaser than drugstore.

There are a few "curly hair" videos I watch, when I find time since we curlies are ALWAYS looking for new products that work.

Oh, Dr. Idress...an NY derm in private practice. She has good advice that I trust and tackles timely subjects.

I watch occasionally, not every day. Dominique Sachse is sometimes interesting, Dr. Idress, James Welsh (mostly because of his humor and accent, though he has good ideas) and Doctorly, which features two dermatologists. Doctorly has good tips with a pleasant attitude. Easy on the eyes, too.

I'm not into influencers who wear full makeup and try to sell products you can't afford.
