Beauty Purchases This Week; 7/4/24

[ Edited ]

Good morning!  Happy 4th!

Let us know what you purchased this past week.  If you can, leave a review.  For me, hearing from all of you about a product means more to me than reading other online reviews.

Here's my list:

ULTA - Was having a sale so I picked up a few thing - 2 of the Banilla & Co original cleansing balm in the pink container.  This is a staple for me.  It takes off all my makeup without any problem or excessive rubbing; 2 of the Mad Hippie eye cream.  Been using this for a few weeks now in the morning and really like it. It's creamy and easily spreadable, doesn't interfere with other serums or makeup.  2 of the CeraVe Renewing SA Cleanser.  This cleanser got good reviews.  It has salicylic acid in it.  I'm hoping this will take place of the SKINN morning cleanser that I'm trying to finish up.

Perlier - From HSN.  Received this part of the order yesterday, there is more on it's way.  The TS Pomegranate OIl  Tried it last night and it seemed fine.  Absorbed quickly, didn't feel oily or tacky.  The Arm Cream, sorry can't remember the exact name.  This also is very nice.  Mixed it with the Pom oil and liked it very much.  Black Rice Day Cream.  This was a repeat purchase for me and put it on AS.  It's a nice, moisturizing day cream that doesn't feel heavy.  Works well with all my other skin care.  Royal Elixir Cleanser.  This is a huge tube of cleanser!  It was on a really good sale so thought why not try it.  It'll be a while before I get around to using it as I just started a LaRoche Posay cleanser for at night.

That's it for now.  I have more on it's way so will report on those next week.  Have a good 4th!

Forgot to add!  How could I forget it?  Thank you to @JeanLouiseFinch who recommended it.  Cetaphil Healthy Renew Night Cream.  I am loving this night cream!  Only need a little bit and it goes on so nicely and absorbs quickly and leaves my skin feeling so soft and hydrated.  This is a keeper.

Re: Beauty Purchases This Week; 7/4/24

Whew, I have a big list!

MCT Oil - not really a beauty item but I take it for brain health.

Thank Me Later Eye Primer - budget friendly and it works.

RMS Blush (Kir Royale) - add another to the collection, waiting for delivery.

Torriden DIVE-IN Low Molecular Hyaluronic Acid Serum 2-pack - this has become a staple for me.   Costco had a better price than my Amazon subscription.

10% Tranexamic Acid Serum for Face by OMIC - I’ve been noticing some discoloration on areas of my face.  This serum is recommended to use by adding a couple of drops to another serum.

Vie Beaute Lash Serum (purple tube) - a staple for me.

Villager 11 Factory HydroBoost Caffeine Eye Serum (10% Caffeine) - stumbled upon this and thought I’d try it.  It has a rollerball applicator.

Alteya Bulgarian Rose Water - a staple for me.

Perlier Mandorla Almond Elasticizing Body Oil A/S - grabbed  it while it was discounted on HSN and will compare to the pomegranate oil to see which one  like more.

Perlier Royal Elixir Night Oil A/S - the price was great so I decided to try it. Will need a replacement for my Skinn oil once it's gone.

Perlier Honey Miel Lotion and Shower Gel Kit (2) - ordered from the Perlier website - one for my niece and one for myself.  Yes, I went back on my commitment not to buy any bath and body stuff but the deal was too good to pass up.  I like the lotion and this was the only way to get it.  Plus there’s a nice sale going on.

Perlier Imperial Honey EDP - I have a body cream and shower cream waiting to be opened.  I bought the parfum so I can do the scent layering thing this fall and winter.

Perlier Love’s Touch EDP - it sounded nice and was on sale, so I ordered it.

Inkey List Mini Oat Cleansing Balm Duo - wanted to try this because it comes is small tubes, which would be more convenient for me when traveling.

Tweak’d 3XL CLEANditioner Mist (Lavender Moon and Tulipia Tres Chic) - it was on a great sale price and something I use regularly so I added mor to my supply.

Mad Hippie Eye Cream - used this for years then wandered off.  Going back to it.

Haircut & Highlights - DD worked her magic on me again.

@JudyL Good morning!! Happy 4th!

I purchased:

Coola Scalp & Hair Mist Sunscreen- have not tried it yet. Trying to minimize fading and drying out of my hair this summer and protect my scalp. Thank you to the posters on Beauty Banter for pointing this and the Sun Bum out to me!

Sun Bum Scalp Spray- used for the first time yesterday don't have an opinion yet. Sun Bum products were on sale at Ulta so I also purchased Sun Bum Kids 50 SPF Sunscreen Spray- Have not tried this yet as well, have others to use up first.

Mission Cooling Performance Hat with UPF 50 Protection- I'm calling this beauty as its protecting my scalp and hair. I really liked this hat so much, I just ordered it in 2 more colors. it is a baseball-style hat that's lightweight and comfortable. Thank you to the posters that suggested a UPF hat, I'm so happy with it!

I hope everyone has a good weekend!

Re: Beauty Purchases This Week; 7/4/24

I had several things I ordered arrive this week:

Perlier Black Rice Triple Size Eye Serum and Hylauronic Acid Autoship.  Love these and use them every day.

Perlier TS Pomegranate Oil Auto ship.  Haven't tried yet and plan to mix in with my other crepe products

Perlier Night Oil.  Haven't tried yet up received.

Westmore Brow Gel with fibers.  Got a 2 pack from QVC and tried it this week.  Not perfect in application yet and was a bit heavy handed with the gel so will continue trying it out.   Think it's going to be a winner for me.

Picked up several things beauty during my recent TjMaxx visit and put them all back since I have too much already.  But, they had a lot of nice beauty products this week.  Oh well..........

If my dog doesn't like you, neither do I.

Re: Beauty Purchases This Week; 7/4/24

Received the Perlier TSV Pomegranate Booster Oil and the bonus buy Pomegranate Arm Firming Cream.  Haven't decided if I want to layer or cocktail on my arms, but probably layer because I usually use Amlactin 12% Lactic Acid lotion on my arms to try to keep farmer tan at bay.  I may use the cream more in fall/winter.  I did use both layered today on my arms and the oil on my neck before the Gold Bond neck cream.  The cream is fairly concentrated.  I got a bit much on one arm and it took some rubbing to make the white go away.

@JeanLouiseFinch

Villager 11 Factory HydroBoost Caffeine Eye Serum (10% Caffeine) - stumbled upon this and thought I’d try it.  It has a rollerball applicator.

Does this help with undereye puffiness?  I don't really have bags, but for years I've had the orbital troughs which I think is more of a shadow since it depends on the lighting whether I see it or not.  Thinking if I can eliminate any puffiness, it might not show as much.

My other problem is my new phone's selfie camera.  I hate it.  No matter what I do, it makes those troughs more prominent along with making me look like I'm breaking out in a sweat.  None of my mirrors make me look like that.
