Beauty Purchases This Week; 6/20/24

Good morning! Let us know what you purchased this week and how you are enjoying it or maybe you didn't like it!

My list is short:

Naturium - Intense Overnight Sleeping Cream. I bought this to use as a night cream because the Beauty of Joseon product I was using, just didn't seem to be moisturizing enough. Been using the Naturium product for a few nights now and like it a lot. It is a denser, thicker cream than I expected. Don't need much, warm it up with my fingers and it blends easily into the skin. It also mixes well with my other serums that I use at night. If all continues to go well, then it's a keeper!

That's it! Hope those that are in that awful heat wave are doing ok. Looking forward to reading everyone's posts!

Edited to add: I forgot to list my Naturium Retinaldehyde Cream Serum 0.05% and Maybelline Super Lock Brow Glue. Have only used the Retinaldehyde Cream twice - using it 3x a week to start. Have used the Brow Glue a few times and it's great!

hi all 😃, a few purchases this week for me

Maybelline Sky High Mascara in True Brown - I love this formula, the brush, and the color! A true brown, not a black brown, greyish brown, or muddy looking. Picked up a couple for the stash

elf Soft Glam foundation in Light Cool,Light Neutral, Light Warm

I'm determined to make one of these work, the formula at the 8$

price point is awesome! They do lean very yellow, but I'll be able to adjust the shade.

Native Body Wash in Lilac and White Tea- first time I've tried Native, great lather, scent is ... well let's just say it's not the lilac of my dreams.

CeraVe Salicylic Bar- gonna try this on my face, fingers crossed here.

Tretinoin - refill on .05

Thats it for me, but there's still the weekend ahead!

I bought Whish exfoliating foot gel in a 3 pack. Two are gifts for my beach friends that I travel with. I've not tried it yet. If I can resist giving it until beach time.

Not too much for me this week. We've been on the go a lot the past four weeks We were back pitching in with keeping my sister company in the hospital the early part of this week, got home Tuesday evening and back out again yesterday for a big night.

Hard Candy Moods Eyeshadow Quad (PUNK) - It has two shades of purple, a purple shimmer, and a gold shimmer. Since I had planned to wear a purple to the Donny Osmond show last night, when I stumbled upon this quad Monday night I had to get it. I’m not really wearing a lot of full color eyeshadow looks these days. Lately it’s bronzer as shadow or neutrals for a more natural look. When I want to jazz it up a little more, I’ll add a touch of tinted shimmer on the lid and maybe a little bit of a medium or darker color on the outer corner of the lid and use the same shadow as my eyeliner. I really only cared about 2/4 colors is this palette, but thats ok. It’s talc free and was only $4.00. I didn't even give it a second thought. We were in VIP seats so we got to attend a pre show thing and have a picture with Donny. I’m sure he didn’t notice but I was part of the purple ladies anyway. 😉

Essence Lash Princess Mascara Primer for Extra Length & Volume - I learned about this in another thread and decided to try it. It’ll be delivered sometime today.

I tried the RMS Kakadu Creme sample that came with my recent bronzer purchase. It's very nice, but I don't think I'd buy a full size (not now anyway). There are more affordable moisturizer options for me.

Nothing for me this week. Just using what I have. Just want to add that I really like the Dr Denese Peptide Lip Treatments that I ordered from QVC. One of the very few things with some color that I can use on my very dry lips. I ordered when I could get a 2 pack.

If my dog doesn't like you, neither do I.

Good afternoon

MAC Honey Love Lipstick . I like to mix this with MAC Velvet Teddy for my perfect lip color.

L'Oreal Bambi Oversized Eye Mascara. I bought 2 because I think they are discontinuing it.

Dr. Teal's Lavender Epsom Salt. Just good to have been using it for years.

Going for a pedi today with DD. May change it up and go light but I'm fairly sure I'll chicken out.
