Re: Beauty Purchases This Week; 4/10/25

Received my AutoShip of Perlier Pomegranate Body Cream.  I noticed I still have a Nutris body cream from Costco in my stash and I just finished a Trader Joe's body butter so I need to skip a shipment but I'm always afraid they're going to cancel it if I skip, LOL

Received PTR Peptide Skinjection Exfoliating Peel Pads Duo that were on special during his TSV visit.  These are different than other peel pads as they need to be rinsed off after about 3 minutes.  Not sure yet exactly how I'll integrate them into my routine since I already use a Glycolic Acid cream in the evenings.  These have an AHA in them along with salicylic.  Probably alternate them.  I do plan on using them on my hands as suggested and my feet.

Re: Beauty Purchases This Week; 4/10/25

Got two items at the Sephora sale yesterday...

A Sephora concealer I like as backup to my NARS Creme Brulee. I had a warmer shade and wanted the cool one too, that's like the CB by Nars. These have more coverage and much more product for a 1/3 the price.

Also replenished the Innis SPF 36 face lotion I use pretty regularly.

That was all I really needed and didn't find anything else I wanted.

Hello dear friend

Its been a while. Hope all is well with you and yours 🥰.

I had previously purchased the Snow Drop edt/edp?(can't remember what was offered) and a bath/body duo. I loved the delicate white floral scent alot until the drydown, which was powdery. Unfortunately I have a low tolerance for powder in scents as it can be a migraine trigger. Gave the edp to Sis (she loved it!) and returned the bath/ body duo unopened. But do know the Snow Drop is definitely a very pleasant scent that I feel most anyone who likes a soft white floral fragrance would enjoy.

I decided to reorder Snow Drop in the Mother's Day kit as a gift. Also picked up the new  Berry Blossom and Honey Lemon as well. BTW the Golden Almond is wonderful! Very different as it's an olive Blossom scent...from the White Almond. I dearly love the GA fragrance!!!

The Orange Cream and Blood Orange are both delectable citrus scents as well

From the Sephora sale .

The Ordinary Multi-Antioxidant Radiance Serum with Vitamin C and Ginseng $14

the eight key technologies found in this serum also include: Acetyl Tetrapeptide-2, a protective biomimetic peptide which targets the appearance of uneven skin tone to promote a more radiant, healthier-looking appearance; Heptapeptide-6, a turmeric peptide that protects against environmental aggressors while also targeting common, visible signs of aging; Ergothioneine, an antioxidant found naturally within the skin, that provides protection against environmental stressors which can cause visible skin damage; Tocotrienols, derived from annatto seeds and a source of vitamin E, protects from the damaging effects of environmental pollution that can contribute to visible signs of atmospheric skin aging, and soothes signs of skin irritation that can be caused by environmental stressors; Tremella Fuciformis Sporocarp extract, a polysaccharide derived from snow fungus which creates a protective film on skin’s surface, helping to attract and hold on to water like a moisture magnet. The Ordinary - Multi-Antioxidant Radiance Serum with Vitamin C and Ginseng 1 oz/30 mL The Ordinary Multi-Antioxidant Radiance Serum with Vitamin C and Ginseng

@rochelleS Hello my dear friend! I am so happy to hear from you as it is been awhile.  I hope that you are doing well.  Thank you for review on SD.  I do like the soft floral scents.  I do have the Golden Almond in the body cream and absolutely love it.  I am a big fan of anything orange.  It is such a refreshing scent.  I hope you will pop in again,as I have missed our group conversations.  Have a great weekend!

I couldn’t believe how fast my riki loves riki skinny mirror came. It’s so good. I have pretty good lighting in my bathroom but I didn’t realize how bad the lighting was on my old mirror. It was worth it. I still am shocked at the price I got it for. Now I have the mirror I can work on the perfumed I wanted to get and put off the next couple months

@Pecky

Did you end up purchasing the SnowDrop? I see we both feel the same about the Golden Almond. I purchased the body cream as well over the holidays and went back bought more. During that time I heard Amanda say she loved the Orange Creme and later Skip swooned about the Blood Orange. I've thoroughly enjoyed both of these body creams. Different, but equally enjoyable.

I'm still dabbling in scents too.

None of the newer Tom Ford edp's have impressed me as much as his prior and much older releases. I still pick up his 'vintage' scents as cost allows. I do absolutely adore his newer Oud Wood Parfum. A higher concentration which is reflected in the sillage and longevity. Yay! Tobacco Oud is another newer addition to my collection that is really awesome on my skin. I've stocked up as this is dc'd in the States.   (@monicakm has mentioned liking this too)

Nishane's Wulong Cha is a tea based soft floral that is truly lovely, I bet you'd like this fragrance as well. Check for sample sizes on ebay. I bought a full size bottle there from a great seller I've done repeat business with for a few years now.

I just received Killian's Can't Stop Loving You. This is a beautiful soft floral with honey. Super till the drydown on me. There's a plastic-y, band aid smell that was the same as the Baccarat Rouge drydown on my skin. I've only tested it once so far and will revisit

I do like Killian's Old Fashioned, like the mixed drink, on me

I do enjoy a boozy note in fragrance and this has it. The boozy top note morphs into wood as in a sweet smelling fire lit on a rainy day and then a soft amber as the base with whiffs of both the top and mid notes as it dries down. Very nice. Cozy. A cool weather fragrance for most but I wear what I like whenever.

Oh, there's lots more I've purchased but these are most current or favs. Have you tried any new scents?

I really miss our group chats too. That was a super great thread, great folks of which I miss and hope are all doing well!!! Have a great weekend 💖!!!
