Beauty Purchases This Week; 3/13/25

Good morning Beauties!  Let us know what you purchased this past week and if you've had a chance to try it out, how you like it or don't like it.

My list:

Laura Geller - I didn't want the TSV so went to Laura's website and ordered the Quench-n-Tint Lightweight Tinted Moisturizer in Light/Medium.  Also ordered a Jelly Balm in A Latte Love which I thought I had but didn't.  My order hasn't arrived yet so can't give a review on the moisturizer.  Have many Jelly Balms so I'm sure the new one will be fine.  Both items were on sale and then I used some of my points too.

That's it for me.  Looking forward to reading everyone's posts.  Have a good Thursday!

I didn't purchase anything this week, but received the Perlier Royal Elixir lip balm I recently ordered. I wore it yesterday under my Nomad lip gloss. The Perlier lip balm is one of the best I've ever used. My lips feel smooth, and the balm lasts a long time. I'm glad I bought it.

Eucerin Sun Advanced Hydration Sunscreen SPF 50

Maybelline full fan effect mascara-purchased to replace one I have used for 3 months. I have put myself on a mascara routine to have one mascara, use every day for 3 months and replace. Limiting myself to drugstore mascara to reduce cost.

@teganslaw  - Agree with you re the Perlier lip balm.  I have it also and think it's one of the best I've ever used.

Re: Beauty Purchases This Week; 3/13/25

I just received the Monica Blunder foundation, and face oil. I was pleasantly surprised at this foundation. It goes on evenly and did not settle into my lines. It will last a good eight hours. It is not like most foundations but is in a glass jar, or pot.  A little goes a long way. It is easy to swirl a brush in it and tap into the skin. It covers almost like a concealer, but is not heavy. I also enjoyed the face oil. I am not sold on that yet, and will wait to see what it does for my skin. The foundation is a keeper and definitely high end with Dior, and Armani foundations that are known to work with fine lines and wrinkles. I just received the new Hourglass foundation. I will report on that after I see what it can do. I am always on the hunt for good foundation.

@JudyL

Only thing I have coming today is a bottle of The Ordinary's niacinamide.  It's what started my skincare journey.  It helps with breakouts and uneven skin tone.  I bought it for the uneven skin tone.

Re: Beauty Purchases This Week; 3/13/25

I ordered the Supersize Laura Geller Champagne Spackle and it arrived yesterday.  Oh my!  It's huge and I think I can spackle my entire body for a year with it.  It's a nice soft glow on my skin and think it will work for me.

I agree with other posters about the Perlier lip balm.  I've used it before and went for a back up when it was on a special price recently.

Also ordered the Beauty Spy Black Rose lip liner duo.  This looked really interesting and I "had" to order it just out of curiosity.  Hope I like it.  I can't wear most lip products so we'll see how this goes (my medication drys my lips out).

That's it for me.  Otherwise trying to use up what I already have.

BTW:  just received an email from NIRA that they have a new more powerful at home Pro Laser.  I'm really pleased with the one I have and will consider this one later on.

If my dog doesn't like you, neither do I.

Re: Beauty Purchases This Week; 3/13/25

Hi Beauties. How's everyone doing with the time change?  I do better in the spring but it still takes some time for me to adjust.

Here's what I bought this week -

L’Oréal Big Deal Mascara -  I’ve been using this for a while and like it a lot so I ordered a couple more; one for my backup and one for DD when I see her next week.

Milani Make It Last Setting Spray (Original) - I haven’t finished my bottle of NYX yet but this will be ready when I do.

100% Volufiline - this is an ingredient for plumping and firming.  A couple of drops gets added to a serum or moisturizer.  It’s an active ingredient in some of  the d’Alba Piedmont White Truffle products.  I thought I’d give it a whirl.  Maybe I’ll add some to my hand cream too.

d'Alba Piedmont White Truffle First Spray Serum, 6.08 fl oz - I’ve only been using this a short time and I like it.  The $19.99 price tag on the Costco website is hard to beat so I ordered one more for the stash before the sale ended.

Tweak'd By Nature 2-pc. Cloud 9 Dreamland 16oz. Body Wash - I ordered a few of these for some gifting that I’ll be doing in May.

RMS Beauty Skin2Skin Powder Blush Brush - bought to replace my old, worn out Wet ‘n’ Wild bronzer brush

Thanks for mentioning Naturium @Dazlin. I need to reorder the rice cleanser.
