Beauty Purchases This Week; 2/20/25

[ Edited ]

Good morning Beauties!  Let us know what you purchased this week and, if you've tried it, how you like it or not.

Here's my list:

Tarte - I ordered the TSV concealer from last Friday.  It arrived yesterday so haven't tried it yet, although I did check the shade and think it'll be ok.  It may be a bit light.  If I like it, I may try the Light/Medium.  I ordered the Light.

Benefit - Ordered the HSN TS yesterday of the tinted brow gel.  I use the Benefit Precisely My Brow, brow pencil and have wanted to try a tinted brow gel so figured why not.  The price was good and I had some "spendable kash" from HSN so that made it even nicer.

That's it.  Looking forward to reading everyone's posts!  Have a good Thursday!

Bought nothing ,but did use Nassifs retexturizing pads--but only one time--can use 2x a week--so no reviews yet.

@JudyLGood morning, I stocked up on the Tweaked Supersize Hair Mist Duo. It is a staple for me and was a weekly deal on HSN. Thanks for the heads up again @JeanLouiseFinch

I purchased the following scents:

2- Above the Clouds (my favorite), and 1 each of Bamboo Green Tea, Tulpia, Lavender Rain, and Agua de Coco. I have not tried Lavender Rain or Agua de Coco yet. I am so sad this product is not going to be made anymore.

Have a good day all.

Re: Beauty Purchases This Week; 2/23/25

I needed my biossance omega cream I use at night soon. Sephora had it 50% off for Presidents’ Day weekend. So I snatched it up. I also ordered the small size of the Sephora spray brush cleaner and Tarte life lock setting spray. Almost out of my brush cleaner and setting spray so thought I would pick those up. I usually use a he CT setting spray but thought I would try the new Tarte one. Got a free sample of the flower bomb Tiger Lily perfume. Can’t wait to try that one.

I have just one beauty purchase this week:  Shark Flex Diffuser attachment.  My Flex came with an oval brush, two curling rods, a de-frizz attachment and a direction nozzle.  I decided to add the round brush and diffuser attachments while they are available for my model of Flex.  I don't have curls, but I sweat a lot in summer and using the diffuser allows me to dry my scalp without taking the time to dry all my hair.

I ordered the Voluum crimper to try again.  I remember Silleemee/sugipine said she used one and was curious to try as an alternative to adding product to my hair for volume.

That's it for me this week.  I passed on the Benefit brow gels (and hope I don't regret it) since I have a couple in reserve.

If my dog doesn't like you, neither do I.

Hi Beauties!

Here's my list ~

Tweak’d Revitalizing Mist (Above the Clouds, Lavender Rain, Agua de Coco, Tulipia Angelique, Bamboo Green Tea) - This mist is a staple for me and can be used in face and body too, not only hair.  Denis said it’s not returning so I stocked up too, @kathie66, and am set for a very, very long time.  Who knows, what he said could be code for something else is taking its place.  We’ll see. I’m looking forward to trying the Agua de Coco and Lavender Rain, both are new ones for me.  I already know that I like the Above the Clouds and Tulipia Angelique. The Bamboo Green Tea is going to be a gift for one of our kids. I’ll share my haul with our DDIL, for our DGD’s hair, if she wants any.   Besides using it on my hair, I also like keeping a bottle in the fridge for a cool, refreshing spray after being outside in the hot summer.   I'm wondering if I'd like it as a daily facial essence/toner?

Tweak’d  Dry CLEANditioner (Tulipia Tres Chic) - It was on a clearance price,  I hope that’s because they’re getting a better bottle and not eliminating it altogether.  Anyway, another one for the stash. I'm set for a long time on this too.

Nakery Body Magic Talc Free Powder - It gets pretty good reviews so I thought I’d try it. 🤷‍♀️

L’Oréal Big Deal Buildable Washable Mascara - I happened to stumble upon Angie/Hot ‘n’ Flashy giving this a good review so I decided to try it.  I used it alone w/o my usual lash boosting primer and got very nice results I like it very much.  No clumping or spider eyes and it washes off easily.  I'd repurchase in the future.

That’s all for me this week.

Y'all have a great weekend.

@JudyL

1.   I purchased a back up of my Merit The Minimalist (foundation stick). Equally as good as the WA and less money.

2.  I also purchased a peel before the snow and did it 2 days ago. I knew I wouldn't be going out. Peeling big time!!! I did a 50% glycolic peel. I should see the end of peeling in about 4 more days. Purchased from "Platinum Skin Care".
