Good morning!  Think this week was probably a quiet week for beauty purchases for most of us but, if you did buy something, let us know.

I didn't buy anything this week.  Wishing everyone a good holiday weekend!

Just one purchase this week for me:  Intelliwhite gel from hsn.  This keeps my dental work nice and bright so it's a staple for me.  Trying the gel dispensers as I've been using the gel pens.  

Looking forward to seeing what others are buying.  Wishing a safe and happy holiday for all.

Here's what happened this week....

I thought I had finished my Christmas shopping weeks ago.  Then, the other day, DD expressed a desire to get more committed to a full AM & PM skincare routine with an assortment products but had no idea where to start.  Say no more, Mom’s on it! I already had a bottle of Lab Direct Power Punch Serum and some CosRx Snail Peptide Eye Cream included in her Christmas gift box but decided to add a few more items to help get her started - a rechargeable silicone cleansing device, a cleanser, a toner, a peptide serum, a niacinamide serum, and AM moisturizer.  She can’t afford a lot and finds Amazon shopping most convenient so that’s where I ordered.  If she likes them she can easily reorder.  I have extras of Perlier Black Rice Eye Serum, Perlier Youth Creator Serum and some Tweak’d Unscented All Purpose Rescue Cream so I might toss them in too.  When I see if she’s really serious about keeping up with it, I may ask if she wants to use anything that I have on A/S and I will amend my plans accordingly.

Other purchases -

Goody Hair Ties - I’m going to try @SilleeMee's method of hanging washed brushes to dry. Right now, I'm planning to get that job done Tuesday or Wednesday.

Skinn Divine Elixir Algae Oil (mini bottle - .5 oz.)   - I caught one listed (hope it wasn’t a return 🤞) and bought it since I like the smaller sizes for travel.

The Belle Beauty Defineabelle Eyeliner set arrived and they’re pretty nice - easy to apply a nice, smooth line without pressing hard or needing to repeatedly go over a spot unless you intentionally want it thicker.  I haven't worn true eyeliner in awhile, mostly I use a dark eyeshadow, but for the price, these are nice and I'll keep them. 

My Supersize Skinn Divine Elixir Luminous Oil arrived and had leaked within the box and all over the packing paper (at least it was absorbent).  I discovered the cap wasn’t tightened down all the way and the cellophane seal wasn’t secure either.  I called HSN. They processed a replacement shipment.

Crest Gum Detoxify Toothpaste - got this just in the nick of time as my current tube is just about done.

Only thing for me was a couple of perfume samples from Scent Split.  I'm looking for a gourmand cinnamon perfume.  Neither one was a hit.

I just received my Sephora order from 2 days ago.  I still can't sign in to Sephora on Chrome.  I have tried clearing my History and any Cookies for Sephora.  I don't want to be autoimatically signed out of other sites, so I'm not clearing all my cookies.

Also received from Amazon Color Wow Raise the Root root volumizing spray.  I had already bought the mini size to try out and have been using it on Sundays.  It'll replace the Moremo root lifthing spray when I finish it since it apparently has been discontinued.

I may add a couple of in-transit items.  My Tweak'd seems to have been delayed in the hand over from UPS to USPS.  Mail Innovations strikes again.

Tweak'd Jatamansi Scalp Leave-on Serum - Helps combat the appearance of thinning hair.  I got the Tulipia Daydream scent.

I also got a Walmart order.

Fold-up stool that someone here pointed me in the direction of recently.  Now, hopefully, I can sit and use my light-up makeup mirror instead of squatting.  And ater the first of the year, I won't be in such a rush since I'm losing my singing gig so don't have to be there so early.

Arkive The Scene Setter Hybrid Pomade - Years ago I LOVED Jonathan Silky Dirt.  Well, of course, it was discontinued.  Ever since, I've been looking for a finishing CREAM.  But every time I do a search invariably thick jelly like pomades show up.  Even Ouidad has one of those jelly like pomades and I can't use it unless I add some oil to it.  I saw the guy that owns this line on GMA or Today doing a demo and have wanted to try this product ever since.  It comes in a little tub like a pomade, but looks to be more cream-like.  Keeping my fingers crossed.

PACIFICA silk vegan air dry cream. From Amazon, but it is Pacifica so it could be other places. I really like this cream.

HERBIVORE Moon Dew purple eye cream. Jury is still out.

A new travel sonic toothbrush that I can't remember the name of. I don't want to leave my good one when I travel.
