Beauty Purchases This Past Week; 11/27/25

I won't have time tomorrow morning to post so am doing it tonight.  Wishing everyone a wonderful, peaceful, and happy Thanksgiving.  Let us know what you have purchased this past week and how you like it.

My list:

Nails.Inc - I ordered 2 of the Big Deal - one for DD and one for me.  They both have arrived but I haven't tried them yet.  The bag seems to be very nice.

Poshe - Super Fast Drying Top Coat.  Ordered 2 of them, one for DD and one for me to go with the above Nails.Inc polishes.

GoPure - Tighten and LIft neck cream for DD.  She's been using and liking it so got her one at the 50% off sale.  Advanaced Repair Eye Cream for me to try.

mimmua! - Kojic Acid Turmeric Cleansing Cream.  Heard about this on YouTube and it seems to have a lot of good ingredients in it so thought I would try it.  Got one for DD also.

With all the great sales going on, hopefully you all have had a chance to get some things you've been wantingto try, stock up on or buying for gifts.   Looking forward to reading everyone's posts.

Re: Beauty Purchases This Past Week; 11/27/25

Happy Thanksgiving to all!

I just purchased a neat little thing from Walgreen which would be a good stocking stuffer, but I bought it for myself!  It's from Maybelline.  It's a "Mini Mascara Kit".  There are 3 different mini mascaras.  I thought this would be great for me, since I don't wear mascara often.  Also, it would give people an opportunity to try different formulations.  The set includes Great Lash, Lash Sensational Sky High, and Lash Sensational Firework. The set was $10.99!

I bought the following 2 items, although I have not had an opportunity to try them yet:

L'Oreal Wrinkle Expert Eye Cream Calcium 55+ which claims to reduce crow's feet and improve smoothess up to 24 H hydration

Garnier Pure Moisture 10-in-1 + Hyaluronic Acid Multitasking Leave-In + Cucumber Water for hair which says it has 10 immediate benefits for dry hair and scalp.

I hope these things work!

I also got another bottle of CeraVe Hydrafting Foaming Oil Cleanser for Dry to Very Dry Skin.  I am currently loving this cleanser.  I was experiencing flakiness on my face for some unknown reason and this has really helped me with this situation.

Looking forward to see what everyone else posts about!

Happy Thanksgiving, all!

@JudyL I hope you are feeling better!

I had forgotten last week that I had purchased from QVC the Philosophy 3 piece set of Peppermint Stick Cloud Cream & 3 n 1, and CandyCane 3 n 1.

Hope everyone enjoys their purchases.

I purchased some items on Kim Gravel website.  I purchased eyebrow pencil and use hers so picked up a couple more.  I tried her cheek blush and soft shadows sticks,  picked up two colors.  So far I am liking the eye shadow sticks.  So easy to use.  I like the creamy blush as well.

To me from me and I do not purchase a lot of make up and been trying a few more items.

I bought Korres yoghurt intense gel cream moisturizer. I like their yoghurt products and the website was having a 40% sale. According to the email, it has already shipped.

Re: Beauty Purchases This Past Week; 11/27/25

Happy Thanksgiving Beauties!  May God bless all of you with good health and contentment today and in 2026! I'm thankful for you. 🍁

'Tis the season to be spendy.  At least it was for me this week...

Miscellaneous H & B Items (toothpaste, lip balm, mascara, hand cream, deodorant, bar soap, etc.) that will be used as some of the small prizes for the solo cup game at our family Christmas party.

Duke Cannon Bar Soap - I purchased multiples in assorted scents for the guys in our family as add-ons to their real Christmas gifts.  One of the scents is called “Lump of Coal”.  I thought that was cute.  The bars are triple milled and large (10 oz).  Last year I bought them Dr. Squatsch.  This year I found out about Duke Cannon.  They have a nice range of products for men.  The company supports active military and veterans so I’ll support the company.

Duke Cannon Beard Oil & Beard Balm - bought to be a prize for the solo cup game.

Haruharu Wonder Black Rice Essence - I didn’t really need it yet but it was at a fantastic Black Friday price so I ordered it.

RMS ReEvolve Liquid Foundation (22.5) x2 and ReVolve Primer Refill - bought on the RMS Green Friday sale and was able to apply points/credit to bring the total down.  My order qualified for the GWP Mini Cashmere Eyelights Trio w/Eye Polish Brush ($70 value).  I don’t wear RMS primer and foundation all the time, but it’s one of my three.  Since I’m probably all set for 2026 I might wear it more often!  I still want to try the new Missha serum foundation, too, though.

Laura Geller InkCredible Eyeliner (After Midnight) - I haven’t worn traditional eyeliner in quite a while.  I usually use RMS Back2Brow, in dark.  Anyway, the Geller liner was 50% off on Amazon so I thought I’d revisit it.  The After Midnight is a deep charcoal.

Skinn Age Reset Serum Refill - a staple for me.  I ran out unexpectedly, thought I had another refill but didn’t.  The Skinn website is having a 30% off sale and subscriptions are 30% off for life.  That came out a few dollars cheaper than my HSN plan, even if I have to pay shipping to Skinn, so I started a plan with them.

Skinn Anhydrous Eye Balm - I was impressed by the before and after pics. The reviews are mixed on Amazon and HSN, but excellent on the Skinn website.  Some of the complaints mention a gritty feeling. Dimitri did cover this in the HSN demo.  It’s an encapsulated ingredient. The product needs to be warmed up between two fingers before pressing it into place.

Kirkland Signature Daily Dry Facial Towels -  I happened upon these while at Costco. We had an appointment with the tire shop for new tires to be installed so we had time to kill in the warehouse.  These are disposable cloths for cleansing.  I’ve been using a different brand that I get from Amazon - a box of 50 for around $8.00.  These seem to be comparable to what I already use, they look the same and are the same size.  I checked reviews while in the warehouse and they are very good,  so I bought a box - 200/$15.99, on sale thru 12/7, if anyone is interested.  They’re a few dollars more on the website.

RoC Non-Invasive Lip Volumizer - a pack of 3 tubes at Costco for $35.  Another item I just happened upon them while shopping at the warehouse.  I seem to be obsessed with my lips lately,🤷‍♀️ 💋 Curious, I bought the set. While I was in the warehouse I did some quick price checking and the Costco price couldn’t be beat.  I think I’m set with lip treatment products for a good long while.

Jane Iredale Just Kissed Lip & Cheek Stain - I needed a little something extra to go with DDIL’s Christmas gift.  I asked our DS and he said she wanted this.  It’s a pH adaptive blush and lip tint that comes in a tube like lipstick.

Wahl TPOB Slime 2 Black Barber Clippers and Trimmer Shaver Set - DD asked for this to use at work. Caught it on a Black Friday sale.

COSLUS  Rechargeable Silicone Facial Cleansing Brush
- another solo cup game prize.

I forgot a few things!  Here's are the addtions to my orginal post:

YSL - Make me blush buildable blush in Restless Rose and Peachy Nude,  All Hours Hyper Bronzer in Buff Dune, and Loveshine Lip Oil Stick in Rosewood Blush.  YSL was having a good sale on their website so took advantage of it.

Re: Duke Cannon Bar Soap

The order was delivered and they smell really good - masculine, woodsy, etc.  I separated them by scent and am storing each group in ziplock freezer bags until the 23rd when I'll wrap them.  I was concerned about keeping them altogether in the shipping box, in case the scents mingled and diminished individually.

BTW, I didn't order any but the company also makes body wash,  deodorant, and colognes in matching scents.
