Re: Beauty Purchases; 6/29/23

I purchased a Laura Geller Kajal mascara set from QVC, but have not received it yet. I also purchased a Balance and Brighten Glow from Laura's website (I like the color Sand and QVC doesn't sell it).  She was having a 40% off on the website, so I also purchased a blush.  I am obsessed with Laura's blush.

I did not order this week but received from QVC a 3.5 size Elemis Collagen Marine Cream SPF 30 with a cosmetic bag and samples. Collage Marine Cream is my favorite moisturizer and so far, my skin has been happy with all of the various formulations.  The cosmetic bag is nice and the samples are a .5 size of regular Collagen Marine Cream, .7 size of Collagen Marine Cleansing Balm, and sample packets of Pro-Collagen Hydra-Gel Eye Mask, Pro-Collagen Glow Boost Exfoliator.  The price was $138, but I'm sorry that I did not opt for AD because, for 3.3 ounces of Collagen Marine Cream, the price is $100 off the MSRP for the same size.

I purchased one beauty item this week.  However, I will say I'm playing around with my Paula's Choice cart.  There are a few things in it, but I haven't completed my purchase.  Those items may be on next week's list...LOL!

Paula's Choice - Healthy Glow Invisible Sunscreen Oil SPF 30

Are you transitioning back to Paulas Choice after using Nuturium?

I use products from both lines.  Both lines have great serums!  I would say it's probably 70% Naturium 30% Paula's Choice.  Paula's Choice has some tried & true products that I'll always use, regardless of any other line I try.

Well do tell. What are the products that you will always use from Paula's Choice no matter what? And what have you decided about tretinoin? Still thinking about it?

These!

This serum is hydrating and brightening.  It's a thicker serum, which my dry skin really appreciates.  It wears well under make-up.

I've used the original Peptide serum for years.  I'm still using the original (last bottle), then I'll switch to this.  I actually mix this one with the one above.

This serum is similar to the first one, but since it has Retinol I save it for nighttime.  Super hydrating.  Both of these serums work GREAT under the eyes!!

I love her Retinol!  I still plan to try Naturium's when I'm done with this one, since that is one Naturium product I have NOT tried.

What is disappointing about Naturium is the company isn't transparent about the percentage of their ingredients, which I think is a bit disingenuous.  I know PC is more expensive but I know what I'm getting.  Who knows...I may go back to some of her serums when I'm done with Naturium.  I really like both, though, so I'm torn.

Have you tried calling customer support and asking for a document of ingredient percentages? I agree, I think it should be on the bottle but if they'll provide the info upon asking, that's good, right?

So I guess you haven't started with tretinoin since you're still using retinol products.
