Happy Thursday Beauties.  We're having company today, our son and GD.  I just finished making a batch of broccoli cauliflower salad. Ribs are seasoned and getting happy in the fridge. I still have to make some keto corn muffins. Definitely looking forward to this meal later today. The weather is still dry here. We've been on a no burn order for the last week and just received a call from the sheriff's office that it's being extended anioher week. DH waters daily, but the farthest areas of our lawn are brown and I have one hydrangea that looks like it could stand a good drink.  We have had a little rain this week but not enough.

Here's my list for the week:

Silicone Case for Makeup Sponge - I don’t like the idea of a damp makeup sponge (beauty blender style) sitting out on the counter.  The case was inexpensive and has holes so the sponge can dry between uses.

Skinn Supersize Cleansers & Headband TS (auto ship) - I used these for years, took a break, and now I’m going back.  Still en route - ETA Saturday

Skinn Lip Oil Trio  - I’ve been using the Skinn Lip 6x Serum at bedtime, but wanted something different for daytime.  It was on sale and the reviews were pretty good so I thought I’d get the set.  Still en route  - ETA Saturday

Skinn Hand Restore (A/S) - this is an old favorite.  I have some other hand creams to use or gift, but I’ve been wanting to get back to this one.  When I looked on HSN, the inventory was low. Auto ship was a available so I bought it since I had the chance.  Still processing - ETA next week

Therapeutic Massage - monthly session with hot stones and cupping

Wet ‘n’ Wild Megaglo Stick Blush - three shades (Dusty Pink, Say It Ain’t Rose, Current Jam) - I’ve been using another shade and like it.  They’re super inexpensive so I thought I’d try a few others.  They just give color, no glitter, and can be used as lip color too.

Re: Beauty Purchases; 6/15/23

Well yesterday was my last day at my current job.  I am in the process of interviewing with another school district but if I get the job I won't start working until August.  So today is my first day of summer vacation!  I am celebrating by having a massage this afternoon.

I purchased Bumble and Bumble Seaweed Shampoo and Conditioner.  I was an avid user of Bumble and Bumble shampoos and conditioners for awhile as the salon I went to at the time used them and sold them.  I think I got out of the habit of using them during a period when I was wearing my hair curly and I started using Deva Curl.  Anyway, the shampoo and conditioner is a new formula and does not have sulfates or silicones.  The Seaweed line is gentle so I can use it every day which I might do this summer since I am spending the summer at our beach house and I like to wash my hair after spending a day at the beach.

@JudyL

Hi Ladies

I picked up at Target the Raw Sugar Body wash in Pineapple , Maqui berry , coconut. I really enjoy Raw Sugar quality products , reasonably priced and cruelty free .I also picked up a mini size of Naturium Niacinamide Gelee face wash . With warming weather coming I like to switch to a lightweight cleanser . I also purchased the GCQQ Acrylic MAkeup Pallete with spatula from Amazon . I saw that on a Camille Cowher video for the Fiera concealer . I use it today and its really nice to thin out concealer .

Have a great day everyone . Look forward to hearing about everyones purchases

Re: Beauty Purchases; 6/15/23

Not much for me this week::Skinn Pep40 Baumé Riche lip trio from HSN.  I received yesterday and tried it.  It's not as emollient as the 6X Lip Serum, but is a nice day time alternative for me.  It isn't waxy and has no discernible fragrance.  I noticed on a lot of reviews that users are using on other wrinkles and lines as well as lips, so may try that out too.  (Wanted to buy the TS cleansers, but I have way too many now and absolutely must use some up!)

That's it for me beauties.  Looking forward to seeing other purchases and descriptions.

If my dog doesn't like you, neither do I.

Trying to find a mascara that I like.  Picked up Maybelline Colossa in Glam Black.  So far I am liking this one.

EOS Vanilla Cashmere Body Lotion...this stuff smells AMAZING!  Just like caramel and sugary sweet vanilla.  Also scent lasts on my skin for a good long while.  Super hydrating and the price point for such a huge bottle is incredible.  Highly recommend this one.  I have had it for a few weeks and think I forgot to post about it.

Forgot made one other purchase!  Colgate Optic White Pen...this is really different.  You put this gel on your teeth at night and it makes this light weight "film" on the teeth when dry and stays on all night long.  Not sure if it's working...only used it for 3 nights so far.  You just brush it off in the morning.

@tsavorite - The Colgate Optic White Pen sounds interesting to me.  Will be curious to know as time goes on if you have any sensitivity in the mornings.
