Re: Beauty Purchases; 6/15/23

This week's short list of goodiesSmiley Happy You ladies are killing me, so I am heading into a no-buy period and waiting for my last purchases to arrive.

Philosophy 3 piece Set Bergomont-I dipped my toe into Philosophy this week. The set included Body Wash, Lotion, and 4-fl oz eau de toilette. I like this scent.

Korres Velvet Skin Drink - Santorini Grape-I have been wanting to try this since someone here recommended it. I got a small bottle in the poolside pack I bought at Ulta last week, but I haven't tried it yet, but this was on sale for a great price, so I couldn't let it pass me by.

Korres 3-piece Supersize Vanilla Chestnut and Sugar Plum Body Set with Tote. These were recommended on here, so I grabbed them on auto-ship. I will cancel if I don't like them when I open them.

Beekman 1802 Multipurpose Wonder Milk Buttery Skin-I have enjoyed Beekman products and various oils. I saw this, the reviews are good, and I am always down to try a new oil. The jar is a pretty good size, so this will last a while. I used this last night on my feet, and they felt great this morning. I am happy with this purchase.

Elf blush cream in Bora Bora-Another finds courtesy of this board. It is a beautiful color and goes on easily. I am happy with this purchase.

Elf Holy Hydration Makeup Melting Balm-A repurchase that I will never stray from again. The Elemis just was not my favorite.

Maybelline- 24-hour lip gloss in pink. A repurchase, I am not a lipstick girl. I like to slap this on, and it stays all day.

Re: Beauty Purchases; 6/15/23

I purchased two trial sets of Prai neck cream for my daughters who are always complaining about their necks. It was a special deal on the website of $25 for each kit, which contained two jars of generous-sized product. They even included a jar for me as an extra.

My neck is not too bad, all things considered, but it will be fun to see if we note any improvements.

I added to my purchases from the Korres website.

White tea shower gel. I haven't tried this scent before, but reviews are positive.

Yoghurt probiotic nourishing gel cream. I redeemed my circle points for this item, so it was free!

I like the yoghurt cleanser and the trial sample of the yoghurt mask I received, so thought this would be good.

Free shipping and no tax included. I think I'm set with purchases for awhile. Everything I had ordered from Sephora and Korres this week came to about $45. Good deals all around.

New for me is the Bloomeffects sunscreen serum. I like the Bloomeffects moisturizer a lot, and the fact that the ss is zinc oxide and a serum, also higher protection than Active Argan (which I also like a lot.)

Received LG's bravo brow pencils, but not entirely happy with this, so may be returning. Tarte or EL is so much better!

Re: Beauty Purchases; 6/15/23

I purchased the full size (1.7 oz) K18 hair mask (I would love to find a dupe or something similar for this, since it is very expensive)

I put in a first time order with Charlotte Tilbury.  I am trying the setting spray and a cream eyeshadow.

I also ordered a Catrice concealer and lipstick but have not received yet.

Well yesterday was my last day at my current job.  I am in the process of interviewing with another school district but if I get the job I won't start working until August.  So today is my first day of summer vacation!  I am celebrating by having a massage this afternoon.

I purchased Bumble and Bumble Seaweed Shampoo and Conditioner.  I was an avid user of Bumble and Bumble shampoos and conditioners for awhile as the salon I went to at the time used them and sold them.  I think I got out of the habit of using them during a period when I was wearing my hair curly and I started using Deva Curl.  Anyway, the shampoo and conditioner is a new formula and does not have sulfates or silicones.  The Seaweed line is gentle so I can use it every day which I might do this summer since I am spending the summer at our beach house and I like to wash my hair after spending a day at the beach.

@ninjawife Thanks for the info on the B&B products.  I used to use some B&B products, but then I started avoiding sulfates (color) and then silicones (curly) although I do now allow some silicones back in my hair now.

I caved and bought the Tweak'd 2XL Fiber spray 2 pk (Wig in a Can).  Wanted to see how it compared to the uber expensive Oribe I have a travel size of.  It has some ingredients I object to, but if I don't use it every day maybe I won't have to worry about buildup.
